ropinirole er tablets

Hi, Not sure about everyone else but I know that for me the restless legs is one of the worst symptoms. I told my doctor that I was struggling and he prescribed me Ropinirole tablets, one to take before bedtime. I took one last night and, fingers crossed, it seemed to work. Most of you are probably aware of this but for those who aren't, it might be worth a try.

bottom start to go into spasm, causing my legs to kick out. Its so sever that if prevents me from falling asleep. I am on tablets called Ropinerol they work to a point but the older I get the worse the spasms get. I would like to know if there is anyother treatment or operation that would stop it, as I dread the thourght of having this for the rest of my life, Im female 46 years old, have contemplated ways of causing the lower part of my body to be paralized so I wouldnt suffer any more.

50 tablet for 4 days @ bedtime, finally then 2 tablets 1 mg after that. I am concerened that since I have been taking 1 mg of Mirapex, that the dose of Requip won't be enough.

My pulmomologist gave me ropinirole (Requip) because i have so much movement in my limbs, especially my feet, when I am sleeping and when I am awake too. I was looking up the drug and i found this side effect........ 'Some people using ropinirole have developed a gambling habit. It is not known whether ropinirole actually causes this effect. Talk with your doctor if you believe you have an unusual urge to gamble while you are taking ropinirole.

Before you go the pain pill route and risk getting addicted check out what my doctor gives me and see if you feel it might work. I take carbidopa /levo ER when my restless legs kick in and it has not failed me yet. I get it almost daily. It is a parkinson's med, but I only take 3-6 a day when it gets bad and those with parkinson's take 36 a day. So the warnings are for those larger amounts. The non generic name is sinemet cr.

I have been taken Ropinirole for sometime now and it helps a little. As for sleep,I get very little of.

My RLS started over 20 years ago and has been really bad for about 15 years. Ropinirole, once I was put on it in 2007, was a Godsend and just about covers it as long as I don't miss a dose (currently 4 x daily starting at 10am) My consultant has now suggested trying Slow Mag (Slow release magnesium) in hopes that I can reduce the number of Ropinirole I have to take to be able to function normally.

sometimes Ropinirole (Requip) is also used to treat the sexual side efects of ssri

That being said has anyone taken Nycynta ER? Anything regarding this medication would be very much appreciated.

Hi, I take Ropinirole (Requip), and this mefication over the years has worked really well. But as you know what might work great for one patient might not work great for another. But maybe worth a try.

Due to the nature of salt tablets and the way that salt naturally interacts with the stomach you probably want find any Salt tablets that dont cause nausea. I have found the best thing to do is just add salt to everything. Little and often is absorbed a lot better than one big dose all in one go.

My Pdoc prescribed a medication for me. Ropinirole. I've also read there is an over the counter medicine, Restless leg at Walmart. Hot baths with Epsom salts. Mine were so bad last time, I bought white medical tape & am going to try taping my legs up tight. This time I'm going off pain pills gradually,so maybe the restless legs won't be as bad. My doctor wants me to take one tablet a day of Potassium ER 20. I need to crush it to take it as the pill is too large due to a lap band. I cannot take anything that has a fizz in it due to my lap band. The pharmacist said it was ok to crush it and my doctor knows that I need to do this. Is there something else out there for me to use? A liquid that doesn't fizz? Or is crushing this ok? I crush it then put it in my mouth then swish it down with water. I have not had any stomach issues.

I was dx with RLS after feeling like my legs had a mind of their own....ropinirole 2x a day.

So they have in ropinirole (I forgot how to spell it) but 1mg doesn't seem to be working. :( what other meds can I request?

Early on I was diagnosed with primary paradoxical syndrome, but was negative at a later date...I take Midodrine, (rencently started) and gabapentin, baclofen, ropinirole which I have been on these 3 for years What is causing this is extreme sleepiness?? I cannot function...any meds or test?? I'm open to suggestions to help me function...

Hey everyone....I am weening off of Ultram and My doctor switched me over to MS contin ER. (Morphine Sulfate extended release.) Does anyone know anything about this drug? I've never even heard of it before. I switched over from the Ultam to the MS and I did not get any withdrawals. Now my doc is slowly decreasing my dose of MS. Any info on this med would really, really be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I hav taken Effexor Hcl 150 mg generic called Venlafaxine HCL ER Capsules 150mg, for years. A new doc wrote for the same medication in tablet form by mistake instead of the caps. Will it work the same for me?

I recently relocated and went to my new doctor (general medicine) on Monday and she started me on Xanax extended release tablets instead of the pop them as you go type. I have never heard of them but she said it is the only type she will prescribe. I have always been concerned with being dependent on Xanax so the pop as you go idea worked well since some days I could get by without any (that’s been a while since I've had a lot going on) or on a really bad day never exceed more than 2mg.

So right now I am currently taking ziprasidone 80 mg, chantix 1mg, topamax 50mg 3x day, and ropinirole for side effects 1 mg once a day. I can't believe I actually made it through the night last night. I had some psychosis and was up all night long, but laying and I had the shakes at first but I'm actually proud I made it through the night without popping that pill. Took my medicine this morning and slept for about 5 hours and no psychosis, hallucinations or anything.

So in order avoid withdrawal and keep the same dosage regimen, I had to take 5 roxicodone 15mg tablets a day for those 6 days which sums up to 30 tablets. Now subtracting the 30 tablets from the 40 tablets I had at day 1 of the PA request, that leaves only 10 roxicodone tablets left until my next doc appointment 18 days away. I should note that I've never called my doctor ever in the past asking for extra medication before, as I've been the responsibile and model patient.

My life has changed so much since 06 ive had two ops now to remove glands that were affected and my neck looks beautiful ha. I think i need to sort the right brand of tablets for me at the mo im on 150 levo which i feel is ok i only have mood swings when it is pmt time so my husband is very careful around me ha. Hope i can get some answers would be nice to here that someone is like me .
