Avatar m tn I was recently involved in an accident on November 16 in which I fell unconscious and hit my head which caused trauma to my head, and at that time I also had a really bad fever. I stayed in the hospital for a week and the doctor diagnosed me with migraines because during the stay I had headaches the whole time. Since then my headaches got worse and worse and now I'm to the point that I cannot even attend spring semester at my college.
Avatar m tn Well my story is that i just hit 25 years old. And since I was 17 i have been getting a extreme pain only in the back of my head if i lay down on my back with my back of head on not a soft surface i get a headache which turns into bad migrane. If i bounce around i get a headache it's only ever been in the back of my head and when it gets bad like if i dont take some type of tylenol or Advil right away it gets bad.

Avatar f tn (not that he could help it if things were bad) but the first thing he did when the quake hit was get a count there and check on everyone in India and get word to the spouses in the states. I am so mentally slow today I cant seem to put two and two together.
Avatar f tn By way of background I have chronic daily headaches as well as migraines with aura, and have had those since I was 14 (I’m 32 now). I take rizatriptan for the migraines and Tylenol and ibuprofen for the daily headache.
Avatar f tn I have a history of horrible migraines since my early teens and they just recently began. It's been exactly a week since I've had this particular migraine and since tylenol is the only safe thing I can take, I am in agony!! I'm used to taking excedrin and rizatriptan but neither of those are safe for the baby. I've tried sleeping, cold rags on my neck and forehead, head rubs, everything! And I just can't get rid of if! I'm to the point where I want to go to the e.
Avatar f tn I had cataract removal surgery over a year ago with premium bifocal implants via laser. I've had occasional migraines since then but has come to daily occurrences since June 2022 (most of pain is behind left eye). I've seen my ophthalmologist twice since surgery and she says I have 20/20 vision with nothing wrong. I'm currently seeing a neurologist and he has prescribed Nortriptyline for preventative (which hasn't helped) and Rizatriptan to get rid of migraine.

Avatar f tn After taking 100mg of Imitrex for my migraines, within 3 hours after I usually feel all of a sudden kind of "out of it". I am just really "slow" feeling and neutral in personality unlike usual. Is this typical? Why does it do this?
Avatar n tn The last 2 weeks or so my migraines have gotten more frequent and less apt to respond to Rizatriptan. I am wondering if I am just having a bad week or if the accutane is to blame.
Avatar m tn I too did HBsAg test in India. They said its Chemililuminiscence method. Count is 5209. No unit.
Avatar f tn He prescribes rizatriptan along with naproxen and a steroid. In this whole combination of pills I have to say that a combination of the steroid and rizatriptan was the only thing that made it more or less bearable to the point where I was even able to go for a run and workout. He told me to only take no more than 4 doses of the steroid and once I was done my pain was back to its usual self.
Avatar n tn The report is conclusive and tells you that you do not have HIV. In India, test results are as reliable as anywhere in the world. You do not need to confirm the report you havem, because it is already final and conclusive.
Avatar m tn The cost of a radio frequency ablation in the United States can run from around $2,000in facilities that only specialise in this procedure to around $3,000 elswhere. It is my understanding that medical procedures in India can be as much as 70% less than the same treatment in the US which would make this procedure the equivalent of between $140 and $210 in India if what I have read is true. I hope this helps!
Avatar n tn I too suffer from frequent sever migraines and have tried every medicine in the book with no permanent results. Recently my roommate's mom told me about peppermint oil! It is a godsend!!!!! When i get the headache i just rub some peppermint oil on my forehead and my neck and within minutes it's gone! I can understand if you're skeptical about it, I was too but it's worth a shot. It can be expensive to get but try looking on this site. I got it for 10$ http://www.herbalremedies.

Avatar f tn I have been getting these bruises on my arm in places where its hard to bump into something. The bruising has been happening for about 2 going on 3 years now. I have also been getting more headaches and getting sick way more often than I use to. About 2 years ago, I was also diagnosed with a heart murmur. I get very tired easily and feel worn out almost every day. I have been tested for iron and B12 deficiency, and its not that.
878413 tn?1240304669 I am very sorry that I cannot personally vouch for any of the Indian medical schools. I know that the Indian physicians here in Kansas City are excellent and most did at least their medical school and internship there. You might do a literature search on CSR and look for Indian authors. I'm sure there is a list somewhere of the top 10 ophthalmology programs in India. Last resort you might ask you local Eye MD what is the best second opinion he might value on his case.
Avatar m tn I will be going to Germany for 4 months. I am prescribed Cipralex in India. Should I take medicines from India or should I buy there. Will they provide based on Indian prescription?.
