s when necessary. Nebulized mucolytics (meds that break down mucous) such as Pulmozyme and mucomyst are helpful. Chest physiotherapy is also important to help loosen the mucous in the lungs as well.
Asthma is separate, it is bronchoconstriction, with inflammation that is reversible with medication that opens up airways such as albuterol.
I also neb mucolytics, meds that break down the mucous so that I can pass it easier. I take pulmozyme for this, but also take hypertonic saline (also nebbed) and in the distant past, Mucomyst.
It is pretty effective I believe. What nebs does your doc have you on? I am on pulmozyme (breaks down the DNA of the mucous, thinning it), hypertonic saline...also breaks it down, TOBI for my pseudomonas (if you culture pseudo, this might be a good drug for you, it is a nebulized form of tobramycin, I rotate 28 days on and 28 days off..it does a fairly good job at keeping my pseudo at bay) as well as pulmicort and Xopenex. Lots of nebs....
But given different benchmarks as below 1. Wikipedia and body.com say ars temp can be mild but freedom health says ars fever are high temperature 2. Wikipedia and many websites say acute hiv symptoms occur 2-4 weeks after exposure but body.com says ars can occur upto 2 months. I agree that symptoms are variable. If so, then it could be a migraine. This part of the migraine is called a Migraine Aura. You do not need to have a headache to have a migraine.
