If you had your ReStor implant removed, please share your experiences with me! My uncle is facing a very difficult decision. He is extremely unhappy with his ReStor implant (complications included severe halos, double vision, etc) and he can't decide whether to come to terms with it or to take the risk in explanting it. If you had this procedure done, any bit of advice that you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
The condom slipped and was fully exposed. After receiving oral the head of my penis was sore which has raised more anxiety as I think this may have made me more susceptible. I had a HIV duo test with P24 antigen at day 9. I have read that the P24 antigen is produced in excess following immediate infection and is detectable approx 7-21 days after infection. This test came back negative. Is this reassuring please help me.

a) will these numbers of tsh affect my baby? b) does it matter that when I conceived tsh was that high (nearly 8)? c) Do you think that I follow correct increasing of medication? what else would you suggest? In my opinion...and it doesnt amount to much, you've got 2 things you can do. Broadcast a nice message telling everyone to get their tail ends out of there because we are going to nuke 'em .......or pull the hell out! Nobody in this country is going to create peace there. I tend to get psychosis when i'm extremely depressed or manic. When I am depressed I know when i'm psychotic. Auditory, visual, paranoia and delusions. It is frightening for me to say the least. I once thought the wallpaper on my wall was my boyfriend and he kept telling me to bang my head against the wall and punch the wall till my bones crumbled. I was fully aware but could not control it. I ended up in the hospital really hurt.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?
I for one never had one. I was speaking to a social worker and he told me in my case it may because I have the support or maybe I have some sort of control that enables me to make it pass the days. He also seem surprise because I am not on meds. I told him they bring on any attacks and make them worst. So I just been going on a day to day basis.
My daughter has been severly depressed such as crying in school,anytime she is awake ect. She has gone thru alot of things in her life but have almost put her in a catotic stage. I have suggested she go and talk to a professional and possibly get on med. for depression. She is 20 years old and in college. Today she told me she felt like she was having a psychotic breakdown.What is this kind of breakdown?
My grandson is 13 years old and has been diagnosed with Bipolar I. I am very concerned with the medications that he is currently on. He doesn't seem to be getting better. He currently is on the following medications
Geodon 80 mg 2x day + 60mg in am
Tegretol XR 200mg 2x day
Zyprexa 10mg orally 2x day + 5mg oral at 4:00pm
Strattera 18mg oral in am
Simvastin 10 mg daily
Elidel 1% cream 2x day for rashes
Colace 100mg day
Aquaphilic external ointment PRN for dry skin

Anxiety that has psychosis involved which yes, could result from a traumatic situation. The medication is an anti psychotic The good news she is taking it which means she wants to be better. I would talk to her about her mental health issues with no judgement. You can decide if it is too much for you to stick with since you are dating and not married but she will likely really appreciate being able to be honest with you and your listening.
The HSG uses an iodine contrast dye that is injected into the uterus. My gyn is aware that I have Grave disease and am allergy to shellfish. I was euthyroid before the HSG procedure. 2 weeks after the HSG, my TSH decreased from 1.47 to 0.04. My Ft4 and Ft3 increase from mid range to the upper range.
My question is does HSG trigger a new episode of grave disease?
Hello My daughter is 26yrs old and is pregnant and found out she has Graves disease. I am going crazy, I've never been Depress I am so sad she lost weight .. She just starting to do testts for this and that.
t until I had a psychotic break that I was diagnosed. It seems that after I was diagnosed (after my break) that I haven't gotten back to the "pre-break" feeling. (I stay in the depressed more than the mania) I know part of that is because of medications and we don't always want/need to get back to the "pre-break" feelings, but I am wondering...
Does a psychotic break change our disorder to a permanently detiorated state? Does it just get worse on it's own?
