Recently I have had very heavy bleeding during my menstrual periods. I have my periods for 5-6 days, the first 2 days are fine but the 3rd and 4th days are really heavy bleeding. I also have pelvic pain. I have my periods regularly. I went to my doctor and my doc. said that I should get an ultrasound of my uterus. Here is the results of my ultrasound:
Multiple transabdominal and endovaginal images through the pelvis were obtained.
The uterus is retroverted, measures 9 x 5.7 x 6.

Me too. As soon as I lay down to sleep at night, there's a dance party going on. Some days it's a waltz, but other days it feels like breakdancing.
Anyway, I was in the midst of a mixed episode and I was very close to being psychotic. I slashed up my arms really bad, some 30 cuts, and I was told about 5 of them should have had a good number of stitches. It feels like a dream now, and at the time, I thought it was *funny*. I was laughing to myself when I was doing it.
Anyway, a few days later I was hospitalized. It was a real sucky psychiatric hospital, but a doctor did something to me there that angers me now when I think about it.
What in the world makes anyone in this country think we can just waltz over there and create peace? What kind of arrogance would lead anyone to believe that?
In my opinion...and it doesnt amount to much, you've got 2 things you can do. Broadcast a nice message telling everyone to get their tail ends out of there because we are going to nuke 'em .......or pull the hell out! Nobody in this country is going to create peace there. Its hundreds of generations of hate....
my 22 year old son just experienced a psychotic break. I need to understand how he was feeling. Is there anyone who has personally experienced this, and would be willing to describe what you felt? I am desperate to understand what he is going through.
5 which I feel fine.. As of late I have been waking up with what my friend believes is psychotic episodes, moments of ultra confusion for me as I usually have no recolection. It is now getting to the point where I could hurt myself as I thrash about and walk into walls. I had a CT Scan which showed no problem. These attacks which I thought where TIA"s (Transient ischaemic attacks) mini strokes if you like proved otherwise..
Not every breakdown is psychotic. I had a complete mental breakdown about 16 years ago or so which lead to 3 years of crushing depression - my illness course leaves me prone to this type of breakdown.
However not being on meds? Dont know - i went nearly 15 years not on meds and i thought i was fine until I wasnt and went psychotic manic, so you might be fine for a long time as well.
And I wasnt fine, I was hypomanic and looking back had at least 3 mini breakdowns and burnouts in that time.
I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?
My pdoc yesterday told me it's possible to have a psychotic break from too severe anxiety. This scares me bad, what is that? Does that mean I'll go crazy and hurt someone? Myself? Has anyone ever had one of these? Also is there anyone here that has had several months of severe anxiety, then slowly goes back to several months of calm? I'm afraid this feeling will last forever. Just to make sure I'm experiencing this "anxiety" what does it feel like to u all?

t until my later years that I progessed into psychotic episodes which became scary and included painful paranoid symptoms. For me hypo mania still feels fabulous-very happy, expansive, elated, powerful-confident-bold-untouchable and powerful oh yes and buzzing with sexual energy...the difference is that with age the illness often progress especially when untreated. Mine was so the hypo manic episodes became increasingly manic and the mania became psychotic and scary.
Oh, I think it was from a hemorrhoid bleeding. This is because when you have some constipation and your waste gets hard and even enlarged, it will go past those delicate tissues and make them bleed, and it'll show up on toilet paper just as you described. Hemorrhoids come from straining because of constipation, the tissues swell up and will bleed and hurt when hard waste is pushed past them. The three fixes for constipation are: Enough water, enough fiber foods, and regular exercise.
The consultant stated that my breasts were ageing, but he wanted to see me for review in three months time, although it would probably take longer for the appointment to come though. As I was very nervous at the time, I didn’t ask any questions.
I am going to see him for a review appointment this Thursday. I was just wondering if you think it would be appropriate to ask for a biopsy. I believe it is fat necrosis, as I only noticed the lump after my son jumped on me.
