Does anyone know of any great prenatal workout apps that I can download? I want to find something that has daily/weekly workout plans.

I am currently recovering from a severe depression with suicide ideation in which i apparently had psychotic symptoms. Has anyone else had psychosis without knowing what it was until speaking to your therapist about what was going on? and does anyone have any advice as to what to look for in oneself when psychosis starts?

I worked out using my pilates video. It's only a 20 minute video, and I made it through 15 minutes until my back hurt so bad I had to stop, but I tried!!! The more I do it the better it will get, just have to strengthen my back again, darn that anesthesiologist!

upon further research it seems doctor was also right about the psychotic depression...i think thats what it may be. i watched a video that described me perfectly...he has me on an inital dose of 10mg which he waas really insistant of..i was reluctant because i wanna go slow but he said that would not help me. That i should start with 10 mg...its helping a little bit...still up and down..intense to calm...

Hey Elinah, I have experienced two psychotic manic episodes after being put on antidepressants. They both lasted at least a week. It started out as a feeling of increased euphoria, racing thoughts, confidence boost, insomnia and impulsiveness. These symptoms progressed and got more intense as time went on, and after a few days my thoughts began to turn sinister. I started having hallucinations and hearing voices telling me to kill myself and others.

Lately we've talked about video-taping symptoms to show our neurologist. Quix suggested that I should have my roommate tape my eyes when I first wake up and my vision is all jittery. Thanks for the advice, the medication freaked me out because I saw two videos on You Tube about babies having Tardive Dyskinesia caused by a anti-psychotic. . One video the mother said the doctor prescribed it at 18 months, now she is 5 with this permanent disorder. It was just very sad. I dont think my mental condition is severe enouh to take that kind of medication.

On April 2nd I made the decision to admit myself to a psychiatric hospital due to a psychotic episode. The thing that I'm having the hardest time comprehending is if I induced the episode or not. However, in the last couple days I started to get symptoms again. Sorry that this is a lot of detail but the diarrhea is not like normal diarrhea- it has mucus and is more gassy. Does this sound like it could be gluten intolerance? I'm sure the test must have been negative since I didn't hear anything back yet. Any advice? psychotic depression can encompass a wide variety of symptoms. i treat people with "psychotic depressions" a lot. Depending on what symptoms people are experiencing, different medications will be used. People will often respond very quickly to antipsychotic meds (even within days). The deeper depressive symptoms may take longer to fully resolve but that does not mean you cannot get feeling much much better relatively quickly.

I think that bipolar disorder can be with or without psychotic features. Since you seem to be having some psychosis then I would say you have it with. I think they have to observe you over time to get an acurate diagnosis. Therefor you would have to meet the diagnostic creiteria outlined in the DSM IV to recieve a diagnosis.
