I am trying to taper the steroid. Has anyone else experienced a reaction like this? I am seeing the necessary physicians, but none of them have encountered a reaction like this.

I did go to the dermatologist and they suggested it was a piece of jewelry since it is localized to my neck and chest. They gave me a prescription for cortisone cream and it seems to be helping to lessen the redness and itching.
My doctor changed my medicine to another anti-psychotic, and my pupils stopped getting large.
Hi...I would think if u were allergic u would have had a reaction much sooner than 4 yrs later.....I would look at ne meds u might be taking, supplements or a new shampoo or conditioner....

Well, I'm not sure about that. Antipsychotics don't work right away. Tranquilizers do. Antipsychotics, if they do work, work all the time. Tranquilizes only work for a short period of time and then wear off. If she took this as an antipsychotic injection, it would be during an emergency situation but she would have to take the shots for several months and then go on the medication for longer than that.
I wear jewelry but I have never had a reaction to it that i can tell (save that now i get outbreaks under the one ring i wear, but i think that's just because the skin underneath gets dry...and this only started happening recently, but I've been wearing this ring for months). The cream I meantioned above I only use when it gets really bad. Otherwise I use aloe vera to remoisturize it, or an OTC cream.
I use hand-sanitizer, but not every day. Could this be a reaction to the hand-sanitizer with my ring? Could it be eczema or something else? I have never had eczema, so this would seem weird to me if it is and to just have it in one isolated spot. Should I see my doctor? Thank you!
Around a month to a month 1/2 ago I purchased a brand new silver stud earring at a jewelry store. I already had my ear pierced, so all I needed was the earring itself. I am a bead store owner and use tools for jewelry making for a living. Literally overnight, I developed a hard nodule under my middle finger on the palm, and my finger started snapping into place and being stiff after waking in the morning. Some days the pain is pretty bad and other days it's hardly there. It is my right hand and I am right-handed. Is surgery the only option to correct this problem? It's quite possible that you are having an allergic reaction to the minocycline.
