t we have anti-price gouging laws for medical shortages? I am not a big fan of this kind of government control, but the "free" market of pharmaceuticals has become abusive to the consumers. You might check prices at the Costco pharmacy. I hear they often charge less than other pharmacies.

I got mine at the local branch of a chain pharmacy (Walgreens), a milk carton size, as you say. Don't recall the price, but it didn't startle me. Also try the big stores like Costco etc., price might be better for bigger quantity.

It is not necessary for ANYONE to have a DUO test, which is why the great majority of us on this forum do not recommend it. It is a waste of time and money when a 3 month antibody test is sufficient. I don't believe in paying extra money just to lessen anxiety. If someone is excessively anxious, then they need to deal with the anxiety, not pay all kinds of unnecessary money (that many people don't have) on a test that isn't needed.

I personally wouldn't drink while pregnant. But in my country red wine or a pint of Guinness is perfectly "normal" for a pregnant woman- the old people will tell you its good for your blood and puts curls on your baby. Like nobody would look at you funny for drinking red wine or Guinness. I had pain in my first pregnancy and my nannie (my mothers mother.) Tried to get me to drink a sup of hot whiskey.... thats a bit too much now really!

This past summer I suddenly started having an allergic reaction to Guinness. I drink very little, but suddenly there is something in Guinness that causes me to sneeze and my eyes tto water. Not as severe a reaction as described above, but very surprising. Just the smell of it makes me sneeze. I still like the taste, and can drink some, but soon it becomes too annoying.

There's no right or wrong answer but I'll tell you what I have and I'm six months btw. A couple packs of diapers and wipes, some onesies, a stroller,a carseat, and a baby bath. I just buy here and there when I can. I try to shop for the best deals being that I'm on a tight budget already. Me and my bf are in the process of moving soon. Hello fellow sufferer of a husband addicted to drink. I'm writing from Wales in the UK so if some of my spelling and grammar puts you off, that's the reason why! My husband drinks Guinness and was diagnosed with cirrosis and also was told to lay off the drink three years ago. Not taking a blind bit of notice he carried on drinking under the blissful impression that because he never touches spirits/liquor or wine, he is not an alcoholic.
