throwing-up

Avatar f tn Well i went to Disneyland in October 2006 when my oldest was 2 1/2 and i was 12 weeks pregnant. I took him on the kids rides and went on the roller coaster with my uncle and everything was fine. I guess i was just lucky. Then the beginning of march 2010 we went again with my now 6 and 3 year old boys. which both of them are big enough to do all the rides and i went on a couple crazy rides with them.
168348 tn?1379357075 and I remember being bounced all over .... and almost throwing up .. no thanks .. but 2 of my kids are roller coaster fanatics. Not me.
Avatar f tn it has lots of different rides that are not roller coasters, but that are ALOT of fun. THis is always our choice for this reason. It takes you through scenes of famous movies, and even though there is movement, it isnt gravitational.... so you still get alot of the fun and you are actuallly able to participate instead of just standing on the sidelines, watching your family. I know when you have your heart set on something ... it makes it hard to reset something. in your heart.
Avatar f tn I will bee going to disney and planned on going to universal studios which have many roller coasters. I am only 5 weeks pregnant. Is it ok if i go on the roller coasters?
Avatar n tn Ever since I was a little kid, I've hated roller coasters. Not because of the heights, but because when I'm going down the hills, I get this excruciating pain (like somebody is stabbing me with a screwdriver) in my perineum. I googled for hours about this and couldn't find anything. Any ideas??
772910 tn?1249563035 My period was due today, but nothing yet. Since my temperature has been dropping steadily over the past few days, I'm sure it's a no, but...just in case, does anyone know anything about first trimester and roller coasters? I've read about dangers later on, but are Disney rollers coasters rough enough to hurt a "maybe" five week old embryo?
Avatar f tn ILive In Minnesota , He Lives In Nebraska With My Grandma . Avatar f tn Quick question ladies. So I believe that I'm ovulating within the next few days since I just got a lot of EWCM. This makes sense since AF is set to come June 6 assuming that my cycle is back on track. My dillema is, that my husband and I were planning to go the Busch Gardens June 6 for our anniversary. Sooooo, if I did conceive this month (this weekend) then that would put me at 4 weeks pg. Is going on the roller coasters then going to affect me??
Avatar f tn Going to take the kids to the amusement park this weekend. I love roller coasters. It says on most websites that they are dangerous for pregnant women. Im taking the safe route, im 10 weeks along. I wish I could go on them with the kids. I guess for this time I will have to live thru the kids. What other things are you sacrificing for your little baby bumps?
8239127 tn?1397619162 Why do you feel the need to be so condescending? A lot of people may not consider roller coasters any more dangerous than a car ride. At least in a roller coaster cart you don't have to worry about dumba**es in other vehicles. She said she was simply curious. There was never any reason for any of you to turn into a**holes.
Avatar n tn I was told that i should stop riding the atv because being bumped around can cause the plasenta to detach. That's also why u shouldn't ride roller coasters. I'm seriously bummed that i will also be missing out on our yearly heyride because of the bumps involved. There are so many things that we have to give up while being pregnant an honestly it blows, but when it comes to the safety of our lil ones it really is better safe then sorry.
Avatar f tn I'm going there today. I don't know how many of you are roller coaster people but I am!! I went twice while I was pregnant and was so bummed I couldn't ride any so I'm stoked I get to today!!
Avatar f tn You need to ask your doctor. If you read warnings, they say roller coasters and water slides are not a good idea while pregnant. Even at early stages you can risk placental abruption or separation from too much jarring. This can lead to preterm labor or other complications. Some people can do those things and be fine, but do you really want to put your baby at risk?
Avatar f tn I am 7 weeks I REALLY want to go to an amusement park to get on. Roller coaster..ive heard it's not recommended but there is no proof of it harming a baby...Should I or should I not get on roller coasters?
Avatar f tn I'd cancel. You cannot ride roller coasters while pregnant, and you'd be miserable just walking around all day in the heat to just sit and watch everyone else ride lol.
Avatar f tn Is it safe to go on things like water slides, roller coasters and other rides similar to that?
Avatar m tn One must avoid neck jerking, stressful activites like football, tennis, basketball, weight/furniture lifting, wave pools, roller coasters, backpacking, extended reading or sleeping with the head bent down or up etc. therefore it would be prudent to avoid roller coaster riders for your own safety. Hope this helps and you can take it as a word of caution. Take care.
Avatar n tn m really worried about her. She has ridden roller coasters years before now but none since being on this new medication and none since I've known her, which has been the past 3 years or so. I'm so worried about her but she's VERY sensitive about her heart and gets mad really fast when I mention it. I know she has limitations to her heart, I've seen them living with her.
5833988 tn?1375121224 I want to go on a cruise, I've never been on one before. I'd like to know if I can get sea sick. Being a girl, I may be more likely to get it. BUT, I don't have motion sickness. I can go on roller coasters, read in the car, and go on a ride through hilly areas and bumpy roads. I've been on small boats before and I've been fine. I don't know if genetics affect anything, but my dad was in the Navy, and he was perfectly fine.
Avatar f tn I really like the shows on different coasters and they film from on the ride, it gives a sensation of being on, it is not the real deal, but as close as I will get at this point....lol...
Avatar f tn Hi. I'm 15 and I went on a a lot of roller coasters earlier. It has been 5 hours and I have bad headaches. When I try to sleep it feels like I'm riding a roller coaster. It is weird I know l. I don't recall banging it only anything. Please help.
8280616 tn?1403204160 I'm three months and wondering if anyone got on any roller coaster while being three month preggo and if it was okay?
Avatar f tn I am headed to the Orlando-theme-park madness for a few days and am a bit apprehensive about the whole thing, too. I am just going to focus on staying as hydrated as possible, and resting whenever I can. I can't do roller coasters either.. no way. Do any of you take medication to address symptoms once they occur? I am on neurontin for back/leg pain, and find I need to take extra when in extreme situations like this.
2080404 tn?1643113754 t distinguish one day from another anymore, they all just bleed together. How can I pull myself out of this? I almost miss the roller coasters, this being stuck in a down mood worries me.
