phentermine with ephedra

I have been asking around, and I am getting a boatload of negative feedback. Just thought that I would check in with this group. Any positive experiences? Negative? Thanks!

You are going to cause yourself to have heart problems do to the excessive amount of caffeine. Its bad enough that you run the risk of heart problems with Phentermine but adding energy drinks to that just adds to the risk. I took Phentermine for a while. I never drank energy drinks because I cant stand them but I now have heart problems because of the Phentermine.

I have since been told to do a liver/colon detox, once a month for the next 6 months.. my weight still yo-yos extremely because you know with ephedra it kills your appetite an is like a diuretic...so i just binge!. I just do not feel like the same person anymore.

Does anyone here have experience with Phentermine? My doctor let me talk him into it for weight loss last June. It's supposed to be only taken for 8-12 weeks, but since I've kept losing weight and my blood pressure stays low, he's kept refilling my prescription. I take 37.5 mg once a day. I know this drug is a stimulant, etc. and it can become addictive. Every once in a while-- like today-- I don't take it, just to see if *not* taking it bugs me.

Mostly during active play, my son often complains about being dizzy and his head hurting. At school, he often goes to the nurses office complaining of his "stomach hurting" and his head hurting or feeling dizzy. Sometimes he feels like he's going to vomit but he never usually does. He sometimes also complains about his "neck" hurting him. He doesn't usually complain about all of the symptoms together, it seems to be different depending on the activity level.

I began Bicillin last week, so I have only done two injections so far as they are only twice a week. Well, I was sort of expecting some sort of reaction from it and I am not getting anything at all {yet}. Anyone have any experience with this medication that you care to share? I've never done IM injections before, so I'm not exactly sure how this type of medication works.

Anyone have any testing through Medical Diagnostics? They are much cheaper than IGenex and may even bill insurance, but how accurate are they?? Anyone have a clue? Thanks!

Usually low, key, happy person. Was diagnosed with Hypothyrodism 2 1/2 yrs ago. In August 2010, finally got my levels to be within normal limits. Was starting to feel better, but Dr. gave me generic Wellbutrin (125) because i couldn't stop crying. Felt like I was starting to go crazy. Went back in Dec 2010 and labs showed that my thyroid levels were completely out of whack. Dr. increased my levoxyl to 125 and generic Wellbutin to 300.

t hydroxycut contain ephedra? If so, I believe that ephedra does not mix well with Thyroid medications. Sorry but I haven't heard very positive feedback about Hydroxycut, and it is one of those stimulants, where after taking for a while, if you "deviate" even a little from your diet, the lbs come back very quickly. I know this because I've seen this happen to two of my friends, who cautioned me against using it.

m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

Hey Jenn I just saw your post. I too have a similar history of taking Phentermine with severe depression a year later. How are your symptoms now?

Then in 2007 I became pregnant and regained all of my weight back during my pregnancy. After having my son I was diagnosed with pcos. Since having my son I have lost a total of 70 lbs and now can not lose anymore weight no matter how little I eat. I feel like I absolutely do not need another adjustment. I have been at this stand still for 6 months now. I am wondering can my pcos have anything to do with my weight loss difficulties.

Hello, Phentermine can alter your blood sugar levels, if you are going to try using it please use it with caution and monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently... if you notice changes and if your blood sugars are becoming too low then stop taking phentermine, and seek further advice about what you could use instead of phentermine. Remember that diabetes should be your priority.

t have much results with phentermine but I can say that it distracts my brain into not thinking about food. I just stay busy the best I can and try not to be around food. The downside of Phentermine for me was: I usually don't feel it working, Caffeine will counter act mine as well as stress and anything else negative in my life. I also started to take 2 pills then backed off cause it keeps me wired at night.

Is it at all possible to tell by looking at the western blot results how long one has been infected?? I don't think it is, but I just thought that I'd ask..... If I was highly CDC + on the IgM but almost completely negative on the IgG (even by IGenex standards), does this have any meaning?? Like a new or quite possibly even a reinfection? Or is this just completely meaningless? I'd appreciate any thoughts!

I suggest you be very careful with phentermine, it is very similar to the chemical makeup of methamphetamine. The side effects of high dose or extended use are similar to amphetamine. This drug can blow out your adrenal glands, make you grind teeth until they rot, cause nervous ticks. When amphetamines were more regulated to sell as diet aids, phentermine started to be the main drug sold for hunger suppression. Be careful, people do get strung out on that drug.

I am on Phentermine a diet pill, I have been taking it for 4 months. I have Anxiety and I am also Bipolar which I haven't had any Anxiety for over a year now. I had no problems with the phentermine at all. BUT, for the last few months I have been experiencing alot of lower left side pain. In July I only spotted for 3-4 days and haven't had my period since. I went for an MRI and the Dr. said they THINK it's Adenomyosis or something of that sort. I think he's full of bologna cause I looked up the syptoms and I have never had a bad period or pain like I'm having now. I honestly think the phentermine is a coincindence and not causing it.

My cousin was on Phentermine but not Sub or Lex....I think that if you took the sub along with the Phentermine, you would get real nervous and shaky...maybe even heart palpitations and put you into panic. I'm just guessing based on what each drug does and how the affects would be if you joined those two actions...but I would also suggest studying on both and search the web for the interactions....
