Hi does anyone know of a weight loss clinic in Houston that will prescribe phentermine. I am 5'3 and i have recently gained 10 lbs and now I weigh 143 lbs..I went to a weight loss clinic that I went to a couple of years ago to lose wight, but they will not prescrie it to me, the say that I am not overweight enough. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

Just thought I would let you all know for future reference if there are any sufferers in NZ, that I saw Dr Andrew Law yesterday, and found him to be excellent in every way. He has a good understanding of Chiari, Syrinx, Spina Bifida, amongst other things and was very helpful to me. He's very experienced (I did some homework!) and a really down to earth guy who takes a patient seriously.

Well Im only 2 months shy of that date and I still have 45 lbs to lose. I would really like to find a dr in SC that prescribes phentermine and offers B12 shots for overweight people. Im very self concious about my weight and have been really depressed to point I have had to be medicated for months for it. Or do you see the doctor? She is An Australian permanent resident. Here in NZ is it simple, you just contact a midwife and go from there. Is it that simple in Australia?

I just started Phentermine 37.5mg last week. I haven't had a weigh in yet but I have noticed that I have cut way back on my food intake. I have talked with friends that have taken it in the past and they said that they got the best results when they combined it with a good, healthy diet and started exercising. That could be the jump start you need if you haven't started working out yet!

I was shocked but I thought that perhaps in NZ is is not offered in treatment probably because of cost. I am talking govt funded treatment, not private. Does any NZ-er know anything about this - anyone being treated with Procrit or similar here.

They are contained on my torso, sides and back - these presented after about 3 days on Phentermine, and I cannot belive that I would end up with 30+ mosquito bites in one day - they all appeared overnight. Can this be a reaction to the Phentermine?

I have been taking Phentermine for 2 and a 1/2 months now. I started taking it in April almost on the same day as my period started. Almost one week after my period stopped another one began. So I made a dr appointment. The doctor done a pap and tested me for all the std's....and felt me for cist and everything came up normal....she said that starting the new medication was the possible reasoning for the 2 periods that month and to contact her if it continued.

Normally, you would become tired from too much drinking, but while taking phentermine and drinking it makes you able to stay up and drink a lot more and affects your Mental State in a Bad way and a lot of the times, you regret what your actions were the night before when you were drinking while on Phentermine. My friends would take the phentermine in the late morning and still that night, it would have a major effect on them.

I have increased my exercise on my Elliptical (30-60min/day) and started to eat healthier. How long does it take for phentermine to kick in? Any advice? Anything I should say to my physcian?
