m kind of curious if the medicine is keeping you(and me) from sleeping well and in turn you are just exhausted. I have alot of weight to lose and the phentermine worked very well at cutting my food intake down from what I'd been eating. I just don't know if I like the way I feel during the day. Jittery and high strung to say the least. Sorry I'm not much help. I know someone else will have a better answer for you.
m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????
My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.
I've been taking monthly B12 injections for about 2 years, and 37.5 mg phentermine daily for about a month, and I haven't lost any weight at all. The four and a half pounds that I've lost, I attribute to the boot camp that joined two weeks ago.
I'd never recommend phentermine, even though it does work for weight loss. The problem is that when people stop taking it, they almost always gain back everything they lost, plus some.
Since then, I have started to see a Weight Management doctor for my weight issues related to the PCOS. The wight doctor put me on Phentermine. I am supposed to start these tomorrow but am a little concerned if Phentermine and a Beta Blocker can be taken safely together under my certain circumstances and if I should have any concerns regarding my already strained heart, while on something like Phentermine?

I went to see my doctor and he put me on phentermine 37.5mg once a day and topamax 23 mg in half doeses twice dailey. I also take adderall 20mg twice Dailey. I asked him if theses two meds who interact with one another and his response was no . I guess my question is how do I safely spread them out during the day. It seems I can't get it right because when I take either or I get very anxious . I already take a anti anxiety med clonazepam for accational panic attacks.
I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.
Started phentermine after trying invonkana, and trulicity to bring my a1c down. Mid January 2017 I started the phentermine. Towards the end of February 2017 I had ketones in my urine and was in ketosis. I was excercisin religiously and watching my carb intake.i was eating between 100 to 150gms of carbs. I was not on a ketogenic diet. After that visit i have been extremely ill. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. blood sugar dropping rapidly when after exercise.
I am not fully versed on the full range of possible side effects from the medication Phentermine. I would suggest perhaps having a conversation with your pharmacist and your prescribing physician about any symptoms that might be attributed to taking this medication. I feel all i did was trade the illegal drug for a legal one, although i have purchased phentermine off the internet for years. the kick in the butt, I got fat again, I am on jenny craig finally and helping a little, but still can't seem to move without popping the little white and blue pill.

I started Phentermine and B-12 in Feb 2012 I lost 4lbs the first two weeks. 6.5 lbs the 2nd two weeks and none the 3rd two weeks. It then took me 3 weeks to lose 3 more lbs. I am scared to weigh myself tomorrow in fear that I haven't lost my goal is 165. I am interested in hearing how others journey has went and if phentermine will continue to work for me for at least 6 mos.

Phentermine can alter your blood sugar levels, if you are going to try using it please use it with caution and monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently... if you notice changes and if your blood sugars are becoming too low then stop taking phentermine, and seek further advice about what you could use instead of phentermine. Remember that diabetes should be your priority.
Yes Phentermine is the generic name. I was told the same thing yesterday that they aew usually only prescribed for 3 months. I don't know why my Dr. is still giving them to me then. I guess just because I have been having success with them still. Anyways thank you for replying.
