m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????
I'm 36, never been pregnant before. I was at 5 weeks. Had 5 positive tests from 3 different brands. Missed period and today marked 8 days late. Unfortunately, I started phentermine a few weeks ago. I stopped last week. Had symptoms such as sore beasts for past 3 weeks, back ache, mild headaches and cramps but unlike period cramps, I've been tired and the past 2 days urinating more often. This morning I woke up to bleeding.
My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.
I've been taking monthly B12 injections for about 2 years, and 37.5 mg phentermine daily for about a month, and I haven't lost any weight at all. The four and a half pounds that I've lost, I attribute to the boot camp that joined two weeks ago.
00 I take the other half of my phentermine and really the rest of the day depends on how I feel and the quantity of pills I have...The more I have the more I take and when the bottle gets low I start freaking out and try to refill it as soon as possible. I'm thinking about tapering off because I have a 12 day break from school starting on the 12th of this month and I figured that would be the best time to start it. If I taper what how many should I take?
I am supposed to start these tomorrow but am a little concerned if Phentermine and a Beta Blocker can be taken safely together under my certain circumstances and if I should have any concerns regarding my already strained heart, while on something like Phentermine?

I went to see my doctor and he put me on phentermine 37.5mg once a day and topamax 23 mg in half doeses twice dailey. I also take adderall 20mg twice Dailey. I asked him if theses two meds who interact with one another and his response was no . I guess my question is how do I safely spread them out during the day. It seems I can't get it right because when I take either or I get very anxious . I already take a anti anxiety med clonazepam for accational panic attacks.

She says the symptoms are consistent with other prodrome symptoms of her previous years with Herpies 2, but this is different b/c the leg discomfort has NEVER lasted this long and especially never lasted so long without an ob. The symptoms just don't seem to go away.
A few things have been different in her life over the past couple of months.
I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.
Started phentermine after trying invonkana, and trulicity to bring my a1c down. Mid January 2017 I started the phentermine. Towards the end of February 2017 I had ketones in my urine and was in ketosis. I was excercisin religiously and watching my carb intake.i was eating between 100 to 150gms of carbs. I was not on a ketogenic diet. After that visit i have been extremely ill. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. blood sugar dropping rapidly when after exercise.
I agree with msme7..................except, maybe you need to come down off it slowly, rather than "cold turkey". Talk to your doctor.............

I have Hypothyroidism and have been trying to lose 10lbs for the past couple of years, I spoke to a pharmacist and she suggested I ask my doctor for Phentermine.
Has anyone tried this before and is it safe with taking Amour Thyroid 180mg. I'm 5'8" and weigh 152 and want to be 143, I work out 6x's a week cardio for 45-60 mins. and every other day 30 mins weight lifting.
I'm not familar with what phentermine is or what it's used for but I'm sure somebody will notice your question and respond..
Its not just my calf muscle, but my ankle and tops of my feet too. How are leg cramps and diabetes associated? I am a diabetic, but have been controlling my BS levels pretty well. At diagnosis my A1C was 11.5 and at my last check up I had it down to 5.9. (although it might not be quite that good at my next check up, I know it is nowhere near that high of a reading) Any suggestions on relief from the leg cramps?
One of my kids has taken phentermine and it did help a little. However she has just this week learned she has hypothyroidism and that may be another reason her metabolism is sluggish. She is now on thyroid medicine and hoping it may be somewhat helpful in the big picture.

I started Phentermine and B-12 in Feb 2012 I lost 4lbs the first two weeks. 6.5 lbs the 2nd two weeks and none the 3rd two weeks. It then took me 3 weeks to lose 3 more lbs. I am scared to weigh myself tomorrow in fear that I haven't lost my goal is 165. I am interested in hearing how others journey has went and if phentermine will continue to work for me for at least 6 mos.
