Percocet and zoloft

Common Questions and Answers about Percocet and zoloft

percocet

Avatar m tn I'm on zoloft and I sometimes take my moms vicodin/percocet for pain and I'm just wondering is it safe to take these combinations together? Basically: Zoloft+Vicodin= safe? Zoloft+Percocet= safe? Will the Vicodin or Percocet decrease the effects of the Zoloft? OR can it cause permanent brain damage? I took 2 Vicodin's a couple days ago and then took 1 Zoloft pill an hour later and I started to feel weird/loopy. Could I have caused permanent brain damage?

5387794 tn?1373257093 Before I got pregnant I was on 100mg of Zoloft, 4mg of xanax and occasionally Percocet (for anxiety). Once I found out I was expecting (5weeks) I immediately stopped the xanax and Percocet. I still am currently still on the Zoloft but down to 25mg. I wanted to get off by the time I was in my 3rd trimester. Any of you ladies currently taking anything? Did you stop? Plan on stopping? It continuing though your whole pregnancy. I've read the pros and cons but I'm still unsure on what to do.
Avatar n tn I am currently taking 60mg of percocet for approx. 4 months. I was clean for 3 months and now i am up to 60mg on the perc's. I was wondering, my doctor prescribed me 50mg a day zoloft for other reasons. Will the zoloft help the withdrawals? i was wondering?
1181804 tn?1333402805 I cut my dose to 50 mg today of the zoloft and will take that amount for the next 2 - 3 weeks, and then cut it down to 25 mg for the same time frame. Then I may try to stop all together after that. We'll see. Thanks for the response!
Avatar m tn s going on in your life that you need to come off Zoloft and start on tramodol without the support of a doctor. Not judging mind you but it may dictate to an answer when someone does respond to your question. I ask knowingly you may want some things to remain private and I respect that. At the same time I have to tell you that neither may be a good idea. Your messing with fire scarface. I wish you well...
Avatar n tn Morphine 15mg, Oxycodone 10/325mg, Xanax .25 mg, and Zoloft 100mg. I have been taking the Morphine and Oxy 3xs/day, 8am, 2pm and 8pm. I take my Zoloft at 8am and my Xanax at 8pm. I also take a stool softener for constipation and have to take Tylenol now and then when I get the Morphine headache. Now that I have read several questions and answers, I will no longer take the Morphine and Oxy together, I didn't realize that they are the same thing basically.
922573 tn?1304099329 You will not get the jittery, anxiety feeling like that of Oxycodone (Percocet). Percocet can tend to make a person euphoric as well and in taking the Morphine, you will not get that effect. You might want to have a chat with your Doctor about this possibility. Morphine in 15mg tabs is about equivalent to 5/325 Percocet. Also, there is an anti-depressant by the name of Zoloft that has been known to lessen the pain and anxiety at the same time.
Avatar n tn I have a 6 year old now who I had taken tylenol3 and Zoloft with during the 2nd and 3rd trimester and he was perfect. But here I am, 34 and pregnant and am dealing with a herniated disc bulge in my c6-c7 and degenerative disc disease. I have constant pain in my neck and have been on pain management for a lil over a year, we had done epidural cortisone shots 3x and it helped a lil bit.
Avatar f tn I have been having really bad anxiety on and off. The Dr. gave me Zoloft and it seems to have helped with my anxiety. But as it is I have a very hard time getting restful sleep. When I do sleep I have ongoing dreams and my mind doesn't get any rest. Now with the Zoloft my sleep is much less restful. Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn I looked up the side effects of Zoloft and tachycardia or any arrhythmia for that matter is not listed. You may want to ask your doctor about this. It could be some anxiety but the Zoloft should be helping with that by now. Take care.
19298188 tn?1475431611 So me and my friend were drinking and watching movies and he said his friend had Molly n asked if I ever did it. I had my few good experimental drugs but never ecstasy nor Molly or any trippy drugs. Was always scared to. But wanted to feel good with him nd I was under the impression that Molly was same but more potent and stronger like. Pure powder of e. So I'm thinking ok I'm in my room with an experienced person sure why not feel mellow and good together...
Avatar f tn I still take it at 5mg qhs. Down from 30mg qd. I was placed back on the percocet at 5mg per day and just didnt like it stopped and started having diarrhea chills etc. Went back to my dr a week later and told him no more opiates. He decided/convinced me to try a low dose subutex .5 for pain management. After 30 days again couldnt stand it anymore tapered to .25mg and stopped. Withdrawals lasted a week though not as severe sickness wise severe mentally.
Avatar f tn Before, my regular routine was taking the zoloft first and my anxiety took over and always made me so nervous in the mornings I would have to take the clonazepam shortly after the zoloft. Is there something stronger than zoloft that may help my severe anxiety better? Thank you so much.
Avatar f tn I had been on Zoloft for the past 5 months and before that Paxil (the lowest dosages for both). When I found out I was pregnant I stopped taking Zoloft but the depression and anxiety has returned. I would like to go back on Zoloft but am concerned if, because I quit "cold turkey", it's okay to do so. Should I ease back into it, or can I continue to take it as I had been? I've tried contacting my doctor but have not received a response.
Avatar f tn 25 mg because of depression and anxiety caused by insomnia. My MD says Zoloft will help me sleep within about three weeks. Anyone have any experiences to share? Thanks!
Avatar m tn You have to take the control back...stop reading, stop searching about SSRIs and Zoloft and brain damage. The one Zoloft pill did NOT cause any damage. In my humble opinion, you are dealing with severe anxiety, and you need to formulate a treatment plan. As of right now, I doubt you could tolerate another med, as you are still connecting everything to the Zoloft. Therefore, you will likely have another anxiety-induced reaction to another med.
Avatar n tn I have been on Zoloft 50 mg and Clonazepan 0.5mg for years and never had a problem. About 3 months ago I decided to decrease my dose of Zoloft to 25mg as I was feeling wonderful and my husband likes to have a couple of drinks and was on my case about having a drink or two with him. So I decided to decrease my meds. I completely stopped taking the Zoloft - cold turkey. And decreased my clonazepan by 1/2.
Avatar m tn He then prescribed Zoloft (50mg) once a day along with the 2 doses(1mg)ea of Lorazepam untill the Zoloft takes effect. The problem is I still feel like crap just about all day. Dizzy, sour stomach, a lttle shaky, weak feeling. I've been on the Zoloft for about a week now. It's hard, but, should I give the Zoloft time to work? Could I try using less or more Lorazepam? I really want to get off the Lorazepam. My doctor blames it on my upcoming retirement.
459279 tn?1206997145 I was on Zoloft 50 mg for 6 months, blood pressure was up and still was having anxiety and trouble sleeping, so my Dr increased the Zoloft to(100mg daily) and recently added buspar, 3x daily, I do feel better except my weight is going up even with exercise which is causing allot of new stress. Would you agree the meds are increasing my weight? I'm a while make 46, 5'11 199 lbs.
Avatar f tn You were on such a relatively low dose you should honestly start feeling better any time now. I was on 210mg of oxycontin and 40mg of percocet per day, and it took about a week for me to start feeling better. You're in much better shape than I, as it seems you weren't addicted, but only dependant on or tolerant of the drugs. Don't worry, you'll get your appetite back and things will start looking brighter and brighter before you know it.
476246 tn?1418870914 Some common SSRIs are Paxil® (paroxetine), Prozac®/Sarafem® (fluoxetine), and Zoloft® (sertraline). Some common SNRIs are Cymbalta® (duloxetine) and Effexor® (venlafaxine). Some common triptans are Axert® (almotriptan), Imitrex® (sumatriptan), and Relpax® (eletriptan).
Avatar n tn it was just a coincidence. I started Zoloft 50mg and the tinnitus subsided. At zoloft 100mg, it subsided even more, almost disappearing. I went off Zoloft completely again and the tinnitus returned with all its fury. I started again and the tinnitus once again subsided. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'll keep taking Zoloft for tinnitus, even though I feel no need for an anti-depressant.
Avatar n tn Is there anything I should know about how to take my Synthroid, 75 mcg and Zoloft, 150? I would like to know if I should take them separately and if so, how many hours apart?
Avatar f tn I have been taking Zoloft for 8 years for anxiety, stemming from menopause. I've been having discomfort in my upper right quadrant under my ribs for about 6 years. My doctor diagnosed IBS and I've been taking donnatal, which helps. I've recently decided to taper off of the Zoloft and have noticed that my discomfort has diminished. Could it have been associated with taking the Zoloft?
1308164 tn?1275224247 hi, i am on clonazepam and zoloft as well. i have started zoloft 50mg, and i take klonopin for anxiety attacks, 0.25 x 3 daily.
