Avatar m tn Thanks for u wrote, that is encourging, and I was taking for pain at first then I like the high like I receieved, it sort replaced the adreline high I had in Iraq ,and then when I got back to states the Adreline left and I was flat and Lortab worked for awhile if u know what I mean, hang in there
Avatar n tn They took my blood pressure, pulse and asked some questions (what I was taking, how much and how long). I was taking lorcet and percocet and oxycontin by the way. anywhere from 4 pills to 10 (sometimes more) per day. I told them everything. I also gave a fake name and no social security number because I didn't want "opiate addict" on my record.
Avatar f tn It started with lortab 5mg a few times a day... Then after a few surgeries later I was prescribed to lortab 7.5 and Percocet 7.5 for the pain. I am about 8 weeks out of surgery, and the dr. Is still prescribing me these meds. Tomorrow will be day 2 without anything. I have asked my boyfriend to hide them from me, because I know that I was getting out of control, and could not believe how many prescriptions these dr. Keep giving me.
Avatar f tn I m going to the see my doc today and im gonna ask for Lortab and contiune my weening on them....OPIINIONS PLEASE..THANKS..
Avatar n tn 5 milligrams, 2 each, of percocent for about a month, prior to that it was lortab, the lowest dose, first 2 did it, then 3, then up to 4 at one time, then I took one percocet plus 4 lortab now I've been taking 2 of the percocet. i want to stop. how is the best way. I have access to 10 m of valium.
Avatar m tn He will then prescribe me my Suboxone and my Lortab and Percocet for some many worth so I can use them to start weining myself off of then a little at a time, while also taking the Suboxone once daily...That will kinda stop the withdrawal from the time between doses of the pain pills, which will alllow me to take less of them...
Avatar n tn It’s also a legal definition of opiates + other illicit drugs that are not really narcotics, like LSD and Cannabis are classified legally (and incorrectly) as narcotics. percocet is oxycodone, oxycontin is time released oxycodone and comes in VERY strong doses, i believe it’s starts at 20mg and goes up to around or over 200mg. MS Contin is time released morphine (what the docs give me.) Good luck to all.
Avatar f tn Hi I have been taking Lortab 10/500 mg, about 4 to 5 a day for almost 2 yrs, along with sometimes substituting Percocet 5mg instead of the Lortab doses.....I am not able to get the Lortabs from the same doctor anymore, so I decided to try to stop taking them....My last pill was last nite around 9PM....around 3AM, I still couldnt sleep and started having restless leg...I slept maybe 2 hrs, after taking a xanax which didnt really help...
Avatar m tn He did another C-SCAN and said that those disc's were severly deteriorated and he prescribed Lortab 7.5. This was the first time since the accident that I really felt any relief at all. This Lortab was a blessing in my eyes and I was finally able to sleep halfway decent in 12 years. He treated me for two years on Lortab and Anti-ifflamatory. All the while suggesting a fussion at those two disc's.
Avatar n tn Your level of use will rise over time and your life will become more and more consumed by the addiction. You may be able to stop in the future or you may not. I would suggest that you take some steps to figure out why your brain seemed to think that staying on tabs was such a good idea in the first place.
Avatar f tn My husband and I have been addicted to lortab 10/500's for about 6 years now and 4 days ago started withdrawing. My husband has had none since we began and I have had 2 7.5's the first 2 days and nothing since. I was use to taking around 10 a day. Tonight I was extremely sick and suffered chest pains and began vomiting. Could I have a heart attack from cold turkey withdrawals?
1915001 tn?1322666384 I have been taking lortab 7.5 for 2months. w the occasional 30mil percocet since april 2011. I want off this stuff. I'm down to my last 5 lortabs. What shd I expect as far as WD symptoms. I'm married, a mother of 2. My husband has no clue that I may be addicted but I believe I may be. I feel fluish in about 6 hrs of a previous dose. Any insight will be helpful. I would like to get off these opoids w o telling my husband. Is this something I can hide from him or is it going to be obvious?
Avatar m tn Just a quick background. Started taking Lortab about 4 1/2 years ago here and there when I was told they would help to ease stress. After on again off again my use got up to about 8-9 per day until soma was added. The latest use over the last couple of years has been about 4-6 Lortab per day 10/500 and soma... until they ran out then I would do without til I could get more.. it seems so insane to read this and I wonder ove and over how I ever got here...
Avatar m tn I have been taking Lortab for cronic pain in my feet and my doc recently prescribed Ultram. I read on a web site that they do not recommend taking Ultram if you have recently taking another type of narcotic pain reliever. Can I take Ultram? Has anyone else run across this?
Avatar f tn I have been taking vicodin, lortab, and percocet (not all at once) throughout my pregnancy with the supervision of my Dr. for a very painful neurological disorder. My Dr's have told me that their only concern is that if we cannot get me off these pills (by weaning) by the time that the baby is born that the baby could face withdrawls.
Avatar f tn I not only took lortab, but anything I could get my hands on...Lortab, Percocet, loracet, Oxycontin, and methadone...I have looked into some of the rehab places here locally but they are so expensive and I am struggling so badly right now...
Avatar n tn This includes drugs such as tramadol (Ultracet and Ultram) codeine (Tylenol #3, #4), Darvocet, Hydrocodone (Vicodin, Norco, Lortab and derivatives), Oxycodone (Endocet, Percocet, Oxycontin), Morphine, Demerol. Fentanyl, and Dilaudud. There are many other opiates not listed, so if you don’t see it listed, you can still use these suggestions if it’s an opiate based addiction. None of these apply to benzodiazepine based addictions. These addictions should never be dealt with by going cold turkey.
Avatar n tn how are you both doing? day 2 for me of no lortab and man it is AWFUL!!! cravings and depression and being "cold", just pray that i can hang in here alone. tks for all your encouragment as i do need it @ this time. do/did either of you try suboxone, just wondering if it is effective and since i am in the medical profession if my ins. company, and the doctor would notify my employer and the nurses board of this claim , for my license will @ state.
Avatar n tn Me and my husband are wanting to conceive our third child but i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a little over a year ago and have been on percocet and soma (which is a muscle relaxer) and we are both worried that it may harm the baby. I ended up in the hospital 3 months pregnant with my first son for kidney infection and was given both percocet and morphine and he is fine but that wasn't a long term thing so i am just looking for some advice...
Avatar m tn I am going to quit taking my medication tomorrow, I have been taking lortab and percocet for 2 years now.The first year I was taking lortab until it didnt work anymore, and I was taking 8-9 a day, then I told the dr. that I needed something stronger,so he gave me percocet 10/325.I was fine only taking about 3-4 a day,but it has progressed to about 6-7a day for almost a year now.
Avatar m tn Was having a lot of severe back pain, so last week I went to my Doc and he gave me 100 Perc 10's and said to take 1 every 6 hrs for 50 of them, then start taking 1/2 a pill for the rest and I should be fine. Now I know all about the addiction and believe me, I'm not going there again. Plus I almost had to do 60 yrs in prison so that was enough to scare the crap out of me. Anyway, what I'm getting at is as soon as I get near that six hr mark my WD or backpain and RLS. returns.
Avatar f tn to get at-least lortab or vicoden but he says now that i moved he cant take care of me anymore and no one seems to care. If i live or Die here { seems they want me to Die.} they act like im a druggy and nothing more as if im doing heroin in the street. My husband takes care of me i take care of the home he's a pilot in germany i stayed here he comes to visit me and i go there. But i feel and know that i wont be able to even look nice for him when he comes home.
Avatar n tn It turned out to be an ovarian cyst that stayed there through my whole pregnancy, but is fine now (4 weeks post partum). I was on percocet and darvocet for the pain and my little guy came out a healthy, happy 7lbs, 5 oz!
Avatar f tn I am new to this forum and looking for any help anyone can give me for what is scaring the living daylights out of me. A year ago november I was involved in a pretty bad car accident that left me with broken ribs and a knee that is completely out of whack. I have been taking 4-5mg percocets for pain, the first 5 months and am down to two a day. Somewhere along the line, I know I have become addicted to these horrible things and want to stop.
Avatar n tn I am not getting that done until I need it and this medicine frankly is a crutch for me a lot of the time and at your and my level you maybe getting some pain relief from Acetimeiphon however no way from the percocet or me from lortab.....You can do it....God is holding his hands up for us and watching over us...Stay strong all these feeling are temporary...Keep posting great folks on here that care.... God be with you...
Avatar n tn pills are hard to kick I have lowered my dosage but have not stopped altogether but I notice I don't get the high I used to any more probably cuz I lowered my doasgae and that is just fine w/me. From what I gather lortab and perc and tylenol 3 are fine during pg as long as u follow your script.
Avatar n tn The doctors said because the pain has gotten worse they wanted to put me on percocet and I'm not sure if the percocet will have the same affect as the lortab for the baby. I have never seen a baby go through withdraw so I'm crying everyday hoping she does not so I decided on to taper myself down although I know I dont have much time. Has anyone been through a baby being addicted and if so can you still take your baby home??
