Common Questions and Answers about Penlac prescription

penlac

Avatar m tn Soon after removing the nail tips, I started noticing my nails on my thumbs started to change colors. I went to the dermatologist and they prescribed Penlac to treat the nail fungus. After using Penlac for a while I noticed that it was not working for me. After that, I went back to the dermatologist and they did a culture and they said it was a fungus.
Avatar n tn I was okay trying to control(possibly) the fungus on my toes and my thumb and index fingernails. Now it needs like what my wife is having(black dot on her thumb) now resembles what I had once upon a time. I don't want her to fight with fungus. I did see a dermatolgist yesterday and she said my toes are likely fungus-related but she had I didn't have enough nail for samples. Prescribed me Penlac(sp?) and asked me to go back when the toenails grow out... I am so confused now.
Avatar m tn For a prescription of -0.75, what is the equivalent of the vision in terms of 20/20. Is it 20/75?
Avatar f tn Is it possible for a contact lens prescription to improve without having any vision correction? My prescription went from -3.75 to -3.50.
Avatar f tn Can my doctor refuse to fill my prescription for diabetes unless I get the covid test? Is this legal?
Avatar f tn I posted before about how my myopia prescription recently increased quite significantly, and how my doctor said it might have been due to the fact that I didn't wear my glasses all the time for a while(my lens got cracked). Now my new Rx is quit high, -7.5 and -8.5. I have a contacts Rx of -6 in each eye and see 20/20 or better with them, but I can't keep them on all the time because my eyes get very dry.
Avatar f tn I would like to order from Zenni online as I am on social security but I must make sure my prescription is correct. I got bifocals from Americas best last year which are fine using this script: OD SPH+25 / CYL -75 / AXIS 145 / ADD +2.50......OS SPH +25 / CYL -75 / AXIS 012 / ADD + 2.50. In June of this year I went to my opthalmologist for my biannual checkup and was handed this prescription (I was told there was hardly any difference, but they sure write it differently)....OD SPH -0.
Avatar n tn Then, even though the BPH questionnaire showed me to be nowhere near having it, the urologist wrote me a prescription for Finasteride. I have searched all over the web and several medical and medication reference books at the library and can find not a single place where it says that Finasteride has anything to do with the problem of blood in the semen. All I have read points to Finasteride lessening the symptoms of BPH, symptoms I do not have.
Avatar f tn I have had eye strain for a while since NOV of 07, and having horrible tightning head aches on the side of my head where my eyes are, and i would get dizzy, i notice that when that tightning gets worse i can see that my eyes are definitly cross. I went in to see my O.D, and he said that my eyes did change for the better and that my astigmatism had changed from axis 180 to 10.Is that enough to cause all that?
Avatar n tn My pharmacist calls my doctor every single time I go to fill a Vicodin prescription. He is always telling the doctor that the prescription is risk and is above normal dosage. After about 10 times about this happening my doctor decided it would be easier to drop me as a patient rather than deal with the pharmacist. What can I do? Just to note I am a 55 year old disabled veteran who has a history of severe back injuries. I am not getting this drug for leisure.
Avatar n tn t think I am tolerating Armour that well, I asked my doctor for an alternative. He wrote me a prescription for 50 mcg levothyroxine per day plus 20 mg of Cytomel. It seems too off-balance to me, when my T4 and T3 are both low normal. I haven't taken it yet because I am scared to. I just keep on with the Armour? What do you think of this?
Business woman2 They will bill your insurance directly and give you the price right away. Most of the time, you prescription will be the same price anywhere that accepts your insurance, so there is typically no need to shop around. There is no way for me to even give you a good guess, as there are many, many different plans under the Blue Cross plan. I hope you feel well soon!!!
