Soon after removing the nail tips, I started noticing my nails on my thumbs started to change colors. I went to the dermatologist and they prescribed Penlac to treat the nail fungus. After using Penlac for a while I noticed that it was not working for me. After that, I went back to the dermatologist and they did a culture and they said it was a fungus.
Problem is i started getting patches of raised bumps , like pimples and they itch , never had this before now .. I read you should not use zovirax ointment on the inside vaginal are , what do I do , My Doctor evidently does not give directions well or is this not the case, iam scared been withmy husband 16yrs and never had any problems and all of a sudden I have raised bumps all over ... She gave me valtrex and I had a svere allergic reaction to it. Migrains , skin rash and sore throat.
I was okay trying to control(possibly) the fungus on my toes and my thumb and index fingernails. Now it needs like what my wife is having(black dot on her thumb) now resembles what I had once upon a time. I don't want her to fight with fungus.
I did see a dermatolgist yesterday and she said my toes are likely fungus-related but she had I didn't have enough nail for samples. Prescribed me Penlac(sp?) and asked me to go back when the toenails grow out...
I am so confused now.
I have a sore on my tongue that's been there awhile. The ear nose & throat doctor said it is irritation & hard to heal. I'm taking Lysine tablets 500 mg 3xs daily. Just started .I have seen L-Lysine ointment by basic organics. People use it for core sores & ulcers on the inside of lip. Would it be safe to dab a small amount on my tongue to help battle this condition faster. It is painful & very frustrating.
My dog has weepy eyes again & we have a tube of otocomb*otic ointment that I'm pretty sure we used last time.
Does that sound right? I want to make sure they it'd the right tube.
I was prescribed zovirax acyclovir ointment 5% for a subsequent o/b.On the pamphlet it says it is for initial o/b's in immunocompetent persons as myself.But the pharmacist says it is doesn't matter and that the ointment is better than the cream because it adheres better.Which one is better for subsequent genital herpes o/b......acyclovir cream or ointment?What is the difference between the cream and the ointment?Thanks.
When I was 18 i had my first bacterial case. I was prescript an ointment to fight my bacteria. It healed in less than 2 weeks. Through out this 4 years Ive been having a on and off case of my bacteria, but didnt think much of it since i would simply use the ointment and itll go away. That wasnt until 3 weeks ago when i had unprotected sex , which was very dry and rough. After we finished i cleaned up and applied the same ointment.

My left eye non-stop dropped tears and then I use tissue to wipe from time to time. On the third day, I applied ointment myself. I realized my right eye started to become pink eye. On the fourth day when I woke up, my left eye totally couldn't open and then able to open after a while.
It itches sometimes and burns when she pees or when I put ointment on it. We just started putting the ointment on.. Should we be concerned?

Few days later i noticed that there are 1-2 red spots on the glands, which later started to increase in number and caused itching. I had consulted a dermatologist he said it was just an infection and gave me CANDID- B ointment for two weeks. on applying that the spots had reduced and after two weeks i went to the Dr. and this time he had changed the ointment to CANDIDERMA an applying this for one week the spots had gone and i was feeling better and I stopped applying the ointment.
t believe it is a yeast infection as I have tried a Kenacombe ointment alot which is like a steroid antiseptic ointment used for thrush. This ointment seems to eventually clear it up But it never permanently goes away. as soon as you use the tool again whether its sex or masturbation it almost always comes back. The tearing stings and makes it hard to pull back just to wash it. inflamed areas are always the top of the tip and underneath where the foreskin stretches.
I know the box says up to four times, but I was just wondering how often other people apply the ointment (or use the wipes, I bought both).
