I have been into alternative methods of dealing with my problems for years, and I have not found anything alternatively to take the itch away other than the Rx Pataday drops. I have tried everything over the counter for itchy allergy eyes but nothing worked. These drops stop the itch right away and I have to say without them I don't know what I would do. Roll on deodorant shouldn't affect eye itchiness.
Discuss with your family MD the use of a oral anti-allergy medication on the weekends, maybe starting Thursday evening. If severe and that doesn't work see an allergist.
For you eyes you can use cool or warm compresses and Zaditor the best over the counter eye drop.
m 57 years young, and am having severe tear problems, just recently stopped taking Retasis, I have used quite a few over the counter remedies, and had plugs placed in my eyes six years agro..I am now realizing that without some major relief, i can't function and it ultimately would have an adverse affect on my driving. I feel like I have incontinence of the eyes, and nothing helps.
An over the counter medication is any medication that can be purchased without a prescription "over the counter", but does not make the medication safer and needs to be taken according to the directions on the package and there is a need to be more vigilent and take into consideration individual health, the benefits versus the risks and potential interactions with any prescribed meidcations.
yes yes, I am clean from Vicoden, Antidepresants but still am using a sleep aid, have been using over the counter meds for sleep since the 80's then went to prescription sleep aid and now I only sleep 3 or 4 hours using them. I am going to go off them soon. My Dr would like to see me wait until Jan just because I came off two meds this year and had surgery's but please don't go to prescription sleep aids I think it is harder to get off them than OCT.
If the ocular herpes is active don't use it.
i went to the doctors yesterday and after i did some research on the two drops you mentioned and i found patanol eye drops here on prescription in australia, which contains the same active ingredient as pataday drops just in a two drops twice a day method because its only 1mg not 2.22mg like pataday, i have done 2 doses of the drops and on my lord they are awesome! the redness has settled right down much quicker than in the past!
There shouldn't be any chemical reactions taking the two together. The combination will not give the methadone a boost or cause any kind of "high".
