I went through virtuwell and they said it was allergic conjunctivitis prescribing Olopatadine drops. Its been about 6 days now and no real relief. I've tried Zyrtec, Flonase, Benedryl and now Claratin with very limited relief. Anyone have a magic combination that works?

I had an ocular exam last Friday- eyes were dilated with tropicamide and proparacaine. Prior to this I have not had any vision problems, never worn glasses or contacts. He was sent to a specialist. Treatment plan, antibiotic drops, steroid drops, as well as some type of drops to help his pupil to shrink. Although his redness has diminished, his pupil is HUGE and he has very poor vision from that eye. This is after about 2 1/2 weeks of incident and 1 week of specialist treatment plan. I contacted the company and asked them if their Clear Eyes Pure Relief Multi Symptom Preservative Free eye drops had antihistamine (which I cannot take). There answer was "4/4/2017 "We like to advise you that the product contains the following ingredients phenylephrine hydrochloride, glycerin, hypromellose, citric acid, purified water, sodium chloride, and sodium citrate. We have no indication of whether or not the product contains antihistamine.

2 weeks ago,this problem was aggravated(due to allergy) and so i consulted a doctor who prescribed me some eye drops(OLAPHAT) for 1 week and eye mist drops and he told it was due to allergic reaction,he never mentioned about any other disease like blepharitis.the blood vessels dilated was minimized to a small extent but i could not eliminate the one or two completely. i don't have itching,flakes in eyelashes,nor any pain,nor dry eyes.

I have very high eye allergy. Wish to avoid steroid. So using Olopatadine 0.1% eye drop (4times/day) with Fexofenadine 120mg oral tablet (1time/day). But not getting the best result. What could be the best for allergic solution or should I take any NSAID for permanent solution?

The doctor said he could restart the dilating drops (cyclopentolate hydrochloride) and this has helped his pain spasms. However, whenever the drops wear off the pain spasms come back. Has anyone else experienced this? I have extensively searched the internet and can not find any other similar posts. His doctor had not heard of it. You have a serious problem that can cause permanent damage to the eye and in the worst case loss of eye. It may take longer than a week to clear up. use the medicine drops exactly as prescribed. Deal with the sensitivity to light with a hat and sunglasses. You can even get sun goggles like people wear after cataract surgery that block from the side and top. Ask the ophthalmologist about them tomorrow. DO NOT WEAR YOUR OTHER CONTACT LENS.
