I had the same thing happen to me, we just got a new nightstand from an antique store and there was a Bible in it, I had constant nightmares, got rid of the Bible and had peaceful sleep since. I thought it's because my fiance and I are atheists and have no intention on introducing religion to our child until she's older. I had dreams about people being murdered, genocide, rape... strange how that's all in the Bible.

As I understand it, this test is done to rule out peripheral nerve disease. It does not rule out MS or other diseases of the central nervous system. It makes sense that you would have this test done to rule out underlying causes other than MS. The results do provide valuable info to move you closer to a diagnosis of something other than peripheral nerve disease. I wonder why he had to be so rough on you?? Mine wasn't fun but it wasn't horrible either.

However, my increase in faith to me is like I grew a few levels in my walk with Jesus and I have a testimony for Him. I started a Bible Study in my home, which has evolved to a prayer/Bible study and we meet every week. I am a better, more mature Christian as a result. God is good. If you need more details on my cycle, I will be happy to share. Just a note that my second FET was really painless - no needles, no Lupron. I think this helped a great deal.

I had a sleep study last night, to rule out sleep apnea. I don't have the full report yet (He said my doctor should get it Wednesday). He did however tell me a few of the things he saw on it.. but he didn't explain them. He said that he saw intrusions in my brain waves or something. And that parts of my brain were active that weren't supposed to be (I'm guessing while asleep, surely not while I'm awake as well).

I feel exactly the same way you do.. I'm 37+2. I don't want to do anything but lay in bed. All the pains are horrible. I couldn't walk the other day due to back pain. I want her out but then I think the longer she's in there the healthier shell be. I have a 4 yr old son and I'm at a pizza arcade place right now but ugh I have no energy. LOL. Not to much longer.

He would tell me that if something ever happened to him,the Bible would be given to my Mom and then eventually end up in my hands.Its a study bible,so he has wrote so many things that has got me through many difficult times,It means so much to me,and reminds me of happier times!

Hi, not sure if u got copies of ur MRI and the report, but u may want to call the facility that did the study and request it so u can get another opinion of a Chiari specialist to help rule out Chiari or a related issue the other Drs may not pick up on.

As believers we get these tests all the time. Just as a student has to study to show willing, we study the Bible to show ourselves approved. When testing (suffering comes along) the truth that we know from the bible mingles with the faith we have and we rely on God to get us through. God delivers us and our faith grows. We past the test. The next test comes and then the next and the next. Each test becomes a little more difficult than the last (just like exams do).

Do any of you with a Chiari Type I gat a Sleep Study done? Is that helpful at all in deciding what pain med to take for the insomnia and migraine type headaches?

There was a group of woman in a Bible study on the book of Malachi. As they were studying chapter 3, they came across verse 3 which says: "He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver..." This verse puzzled the woman and they wondered what this statement means about the character and nature of God. You need to undergo polysomnyography (PSG) to rule out sleep disorder, EEG to rule out any epileptic foci, and also psychiatric evaluation which will help to rule out any factor. I suggest you to sleep with lights on, good sleep hygiene, long acting sedatives against prescription will help you maintain sleep, keep away from any triggering factor (smell, food etc. need to be identified.

She starts going on about how it says in the bible that no man shall lay with another man and no women shall lay with another woman. I said to her it also says thou shalt not kill but people kill....Long story short I felt a little offended during the conversation because she was basically telling me I'm wrong and I don't know what I'm talking about and because I don't study the bible as much as she does, that's why I think they way I do.

I am having a much better day today. I had my women's bible study group last night and it just gave me a lot of hope. Anyone know about motility issues? I was sent for a study to be done by a specialist Gastric emptying scintigraphy - noramal 2 hour retention 25%, 4 hour retention 2% They wanted to treat me with Prozac and BP meds. My Internist did not agree with that as my BP is low as it is Saw a doctor at Stanford who did not think the motility issue was that bad. any thoughts?
