nitrostat

Avatar f tn I still get plastic because they are cheap but the main ones I use is glass. And glass is better for breastmilk. Plus you run hot water on glass bottles and it warms milk up just right in like 2 minutes.
572651 tn?1530999357 I have nitroquik - sublingual nitroglycerin - to take if I have angina pains - this morning about 5 am I was miserable and couldn't tell if it was heart or ms symptoms and I took one. As always it stopped my discomfort, depressed my already low blood pressure and I went to sleep for about 3 hours. I've used nitroquik for the past 3 months or so and it always stops the pain and gives me relief within minutes.
Avatar f tn t shatter but I had a friend growing up who had a glass eye because the glass bottle she was drinking from as a baby broke somehow and the glass went in her eye and blinded her!
Avatar n tn plastic bottles make babies gasy bcuz there is air in it verses a glass bottle with no air.
Avatar f tn Since you dont want to stick breast milk in microwave you have to boil the water and thaw out the milk that way and having the glass bottle is so wonderful as it wont melt. If you are breastfeeding i would suggest glass bottles, if you are just using formula than its not gonna matter.
435139 tn?1255460391 We don't have one. we put a big glass in the microwave and put the bottle in the glass of warm water- works fine. I know others who have bottle warmers and like them...
Avatar f tn They are super heavy for a baby learning to hold their own bottle but they will Get the hang of it. I traded plastic and glass when my son was learning to hold his bottle. But that's about it.
Avatar f tn Personally I liked the playtex drop in bottles. I used the air vent ( I found they leak) and glass bottles (heavy to lug around) and Dr Brown's are a pain in the rear to clean. It's trial and error for you. I breast fed and the drop in bottles worked best for my milk storage containers. You can always try 1 or 2 of each and see what you like best.
Avatar m tn Upon ordering a drink at the bar, my arm brushed against a bottle (the tip was broken) which scratched me. The scratch did not start bleeding immediately, but when it did, it was only slightly, for the cut is only about 3 millimeters and very shallow. This leads me to wonder, What are the possibility of contacting HIV or other viruses through this small scratch I received through this broken bottle?
Avatar f tn If you miss a dose of Nitroglycerin Patch, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once. When used for long periods of time without a break, some people develop a physical need to continue taking Nitroglycerin Patch. This is known as physical DEPENDENCE. Do not suddenly stop taking Nitroglycerin Patch without your doctor's approval.
3062924 tn?1350414109 Yeah I agree I wouldn't use them once the baby holds them
Avatar f tn I know, i know, but thinking that it was wine, i was relaxed drinking it..until the next day.
Avatar m tn Your biggest concern might be the glass of bottle, Otherwise, most people just pour from the bottle too the glass, or just ask the bartender for another round. At your stage I would suggest leaving the bottle alone and stop smoking. Smoking is proven to be deleterious to your health, filter or not.
Avatar f tn A water bottle is 16.3 oz. A glass is 8 oz. So about, 4 water bottles a day.
Avatar f tn I want to have a glass as well. I'm 28 weeks.
Avatar f tn I would say it takes to long to warm them up that way some take 3-5 minutes. Its easier to put a mug or glass measuring cup in the microwave for a few seconds at a time. You'll quickly learn the perfect amount of time for every size bottle and so 30 seconds or 3 minutes to feed baby? I thought about getting one too but now I decided no.
Avatar n tn I still had stable angina every time I did some for of cardio activity or is I ate something with sodium. I started using Nitroglycerin patches and even have the pills just in case my angina episode occurs. I had a date and I read online that you can't take viagra and any nitrates cause it can drop your blood pressure really low. So I stopped using my nitroglycerin for about 48 hours so I can take the Viagra.
1098952 tn?1270309713 If a person with HCM were to take nitroglycerin, the symptoms would worsen and the nitroglycerin could even cause a catastrophic deterioration in the person's condition".
Avatar f tn My sister used glass with her daughter the whole time. They are easier to sanitize and don't have health risks like plastic bottles do.
Avatar n tn s hand from beating up that kid (or that he had some gum issues and was some blood in the bottle) and then when he threw the bottle that blood on the glass could have gone right into my body!! PLEASE PLEASE could you tell me my risk and explain your answer briefly?
Avatar n tn ed is correct nitro dilates vessels. I take a nitrate (isosorbide) for more than 6 years 3 times before going to gym for workout. My blood pressure does not drop between intervals...in fact I was told to have intervals of nitrate free period. It is true, nitro dilates the coronary vessels and prevents angina (chest pain). The patch should only be worn for up to 12 to 14 hours a day, or as directed by your doctor, but continued use with no interruptions can cause a tolerance for drug....
Avatar m tn I only take isosorbide prior to a workout, and nitro when engaged in an activity that brings on angina. I understand your doctors are suggesting taking isosorbide daily as aschemia does not always produce angina even though the heart cells are not getting sufficient blood supply. This can lead to a silent heart attack so the medication is recommended continuously whether there is angina or not and older people in general are likely to have a silent heart attack.
Avatar m tn The pain lasts anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. I have been prescribed nitroglycerin to take as needed for chest pain and this medicine surely helps. I've had several EKGs and cardiac enzymes done which were all normal. I also had a threadmill/stress test done which was normal. My cardiologist thinks the the probability of me having an occluded/blocked coronary artery is very low.
Avatar m tn I saw some very tiny bits of sharp glass (1-2mm) on the table and thought something might have been inside the bottle too, I drank about half the bottle before I stopped drinking it. I may have drank some very tiny pieces of this glass fragments. Should I be worried this and go to the doctor?
