i would just like to know why voltaren 75 mg inj. cannot be given to patient with G6PD?why is it that even he has this body pains...he just settles to PANADOL 500mg tablet.,can you enlighten me a little bit why G6PD cannot be treated with voltaren?what is in voltaren that makes it contraindicated in G6PD?i would really appreciate so much if you could give me some information.
m not trying to play the blame game here but I would like to know if my partner who has g6pd could affect this pregnancy that might cause these miscarriages.I have read some where that a Mommy who has g6pd herself,got pregnant and lost her child during her pregnancy.. Thanks.

I told him that I have G6PD deficiency in which I cant eat beans or take some medications... So until now I have no options for treatment because of the G6PD, and I have had this penis issue since January so I am worried it will get serious eventually.
So till this day I dont have severe symptoms... My penis opening looks slimy at times from the inside, but it does not smell.
It also says that the colony count of the bacteris is 1,00,000 cfu/ml. Hence, doctor prescribed some medicines like Uribid with nitrofurantoin in it, Prothiaden M, Montemac FX for allergy and Hifenac-P for fever and also Cital syrup for UTI. My mother continued the course for one week, now fever and tiredness have decreased, but the burning sensation continues. Is this mixture of tablets fine, or any other suggestion or recommendations for treating this urinary tract infection of K.Oxytoca.

9 days ago Nitrofurantoin (200g a day for 5 days) was taken and daily birth control (Qlaira). Both are known to decrease levels of haptoglobin but nothing about complete depletion.
Could this be an extended effect from Nitrofurantoin? When should the test be repeated ?
A couple of weeks later I developed a urinary tract infection. Urologist prescribed nitrofurantoin for the infection. Immediatedly after starting the antibiotic my ears gradually starting feeling clogged. Now, two weeks later, they are both very clogged (no wax buildup) and I can barely hear. Logic tells me the ear clogging is somehow connected to the nitrofurantoin. Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of this happening? Will this clogging go away by itself?

I have been taking ciprobid, doxyl and nitrofurantoin for a month now. but still the is no change. I still have some pains. I was diagnosed with an UTI, in the urine and blood test the was no Chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis in short no STI. ve also got a case of epididymitis (nuts on fire). Current antibiotic is Nitrofurantoin Macro. Urologist told me to come back in 3 months while my health and quality of life *****!!! What are some other options for treatment? Original culture was Coagulese negative Staph.

I took nitrofurantoin for a UTI infection and finished my course on Tuesday morning. Yesterday (Friday), I noticed what appears to be hives (small raised bumps with no redness, they didn’t itch) on my legs. I counted 13 - primarily on my thighs and shins. They appear to be gone today, but after I took my puppy for a walk this morning, I noticed small red bumps on my feet and they itched. Is this an allergic reaction to the antibiotics?
Take all of your antibiotics & drink LOTS of water. Some people will say cranberry juice, my my urologists says that plain water is always the best. And any time you have to urinate, go! This will help flush the bacteria out of your bladder. The best way to prevent bladder infections is to drink lots of water, NEVER hold your pee for a long amount of time, & always wipe from front to back.
