But, u should be looking to ur PCP to do blood labs to make sure all levels r where they need to be. Magnesium and vit D go hand in hand and many times the drs will say vit d is low but not too many will say u also need the magnesium.... So ask what dose might be good for u to add....

When it happened again after few years they put me on Nexium permanently and then even on Nexium I started getting pains for the past 8-9months and they did a series of tests again and couldn't find anything. Well if any of you are taking nexium that may be why I have been taking nexium for 3 weeks now it seems like everytime i did i would feel dizzy nauseous and got diarrea so i stop taking it and im feeling less dizzy still nauseaus but is only been the second day im off the nexium and i believe that all dose symptoms are all side effects of nexium

Nexium is NOT black-boxed........this is ONLY a petition. Any drug can be petitioned. As with ANY DRUG there are potential side effects MEANING the side effects CAN happen, not that they WILL happen. It mostly works for my GERD - without it it is unbearable. The problem I have is the terrible side effects. They are all gastrointestinal. I am miserable all the time. I feel like my food takes FOREVER to digest and move through my system! I feel like when I eat the food just "sits" there for such a long time. I feel constipated, but can "go" most days, though not completely. I have gained about 8 pounds, and most days I look like I'm pregnant!

I took Nexium 20mg for 11 days and had to stop because of its severe side effects. Then I took Protonix 20mg for 13 days and had to stop because of severe burning in my mouth, chest and tongue. I tried taking Riopan and Gaviscon in December and January without success because they caused a nausea and a burning tongue. Then I had one pill of Zantac 75mg and I suffered hard from abdominal cramps for one day and a burning tongue for 7! Etc..etc...

He reckons my stomach lining is inflamed due to much acid and put me on nexium 40 for 2 weeks and then on nexium 20.
