My mother currently taking nebivolol 5mg in morning and amlodipine/perindopril 5/8mg in evening for hypertension. Her blood pressure has recently been improved and taking both pills cause low blood pressure, she is also suffering from cough as a side effect from perindopril. I am considering to shift her to nebivolol only but 5 mg once a day is not controlling the blood pressure well. My question is can nebivolol be taken twice a day in 2.
No one treatment improved all examined outcomes and few assessed complete response or sustained outcomes (i.e., at >6 months off treatment).

After my second ever episode of fast atrial fibrillation, resolved through electric shock, my cardiologist prescribed 100mg flecaine and 2.5mg nebivolol to be taken every day. This as a preventive measure.
I have read on the medicine info notice that these two medicines should not be taken together. My cardiologist states that they are routinely prescribed together by cardiologists these days.
I have never taken any heart drug, and feel a bit concerned. Can anyone shed some light on this?
My cardiologist subbed 5 mg Nebivolol for the Amlodipine due to what he described as exercise-related hypertension. I took this medication for a week and experienced a range of unpleasant side effects, including exhaustion, significant depression and reduced heart rate (mid-60s, compared with my normal mid-80s).
I've been off the Nebivolol for five days, but I'm still experiencing these side effects. My heart rate has only come back to about 67-68.
Teak and LiZzie also sent lots of data which confirms zero risk of hivthrough oral sex. How come Dr HHH says low or minimal risk?

I never advise a pt. to do much internet surfing ..... there is so much information out there that only applies in one or two cases. I think you would be well advised to discuss your concerns about "mammosite" with your Radiation Oncologist in detail. I'm quite sure that in certain instances there may be complications just as in every form of Medical Treatment.
The experience with radiation shows conflicting data, on the average, patients do seem to do better, but if the target is 5 year survival - radiation did not seem to impact. In contrast, surgery shows better outcomes considering the average patient survival, and the 5 year survival. Current data cannot say whether surgery really is superior to radiation - however, with current experience - radiation cannot be recommended as equivalent to surgery.
With some luck we may see in immediate viral kinetics of the first days and weeks of the trial, not just a the 4 week outcomes. The 24 week outcomes will also be of interest, but to my knowledge these will be for people who did not meet the 4 and 12 week goals; we will see. willy

While it is reasonable that therapy on an area where cancer is believed to exist may improve outcomes (and for other cancers, this has been done, so selected women with breast cancer get equivalent outcomes without needing to remove the entire breast), the actual available data involves largely case series of patients who were never compared with other therapeutic options (hence the data is for frank cancer, not an atypical biopsy). Hence, the merit of the procedure is not really known.
My doctor just recommend a new med called nebivolol (bystolic) to me thst im pretty hesitant to try as propranolol does help Most out of what ive tried. The nebivolol bystolic didnt get the besr reviews from what ive seen. thats just my experiences and what things have worked and not worked for me on an individual basis.
I feel some of my pvcs are caused by anxiety,some by exercise or increase in working out and some by large meals.

All beta blockers are known to result in some degree of erectile dysfunction in males & decreased libido in females. However, nebivolol is one beta blocker which has got vasodilatory properties & hence can be one of the alternatives of carvedilol. However, you can continue taking lisinopril. There is some information that the virus can cross the placenta and affect the baby, but not all babies are affected in this way.
