My mother currently taking nebivolol 5mg in morning and amlodipine/perindopril 5/8mg in evening for hypertension. Her blood pressure has recently been improved and taking both pills cause low blood pressure, she is also suffering from cough as a side effect from perindopril. I am considering to shift her to nebivolol only but 5 mg once a day is not controlling the blood pressure well. My question is can nebivolol be taken twice a day in 2.
After my second ever episode of fast atrial fibrillation, resolved through electric shock, my cardiologist prescribed 100mg flecaine and 2.5mg nebivolol to be taken every day. This as a preventive measure.
I have read on the medicine info notice that these two medicines should not be taken together. My cardiologist states that they are routinely prescribed together by cardiologists these days.
I have never taken any heart drug, and feel a bit concerned. Can anyone shed some light on this?
My cardiologist subbed 5 mg Nebivolol for the Amlodipine due to what he described as exercise-related hypertension. I took this medication for a week and experienced a range of unpleasant side effects, including exhaustion, significant depression and reduced heart rate (mid-60s, compared with my normal mid-80s).
I've been off the Nebivolol for five days, but I'm still experiencing these side effects. My heart rate has only come back to about 67-68.
However you can find plenty of digestive enzymes supplements and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements on the market. Some brands contain both enzymes and betaine HCI with pepsin.

The composition of the syrup is each 5ml contains 4mg Promethazine HCI, 9mg Codeine Phosphate and 8mg Ephedrine HCI. Each bottle of the syrup is 120 ml, I usually take one or two bottle of it. In my country, tablet with single composition is available. Which one/two of the tablet can replace the syrup?

PPI's (eg: nexium, prilosec) should be taken for up to 14 days, 3 times a year - FDA warning - March 2010. Good reason for this statement. You need stomach acid to absorb essential nutrients and kill off bacteria, fungi and parasites. My bridge is located at the mid LAD. Actually I did 2 angiograms. One in last August and one this May. Not much changes.
Oh yeah, I also did 2 stress echo this year. One was in this May and another was in September.
For my stress echo in May, it was positive for small area of inducible at 87% PMHR. Basal inferior wall became hypokinetic with stress. Arrhythmia noted: isolated VPC.

My doctor just recommend a new med called nebivolol (bystolic) to me thst im pretty hesitant to try as propranolol does help Most out of what ive tried. The nebivolol bystolic didnt get the besr reviews from what ive seen. thats just my experiences and what things have worked and not worked for me on an individual basis.

All beta blockers are known to result in some degree of erectile dysfunction in males & decreased libido in females. However, nebivolol is one beta blocker which has got vasodilatory properties & hence can be one of the alternatives of carvedilol. However, you can continue taking lisinopril. Digestive enzyme supplements are good for high or low acid production (low acid is by far more common). Betaine HCI with pepsin supplements help with stomach acid production. You can find both these supplements at health food stores. Apple cider vinegar can be used in combination or as a substitute for HCI supplements.
It is a common side effect with Nebicard (Nebivolol) so perhaps it might be worth asking your Doctor to prescribe a different brand.
i took it for about 14 mths for svt ,and i found it to be ok ,there are better ones for svt ,like neiblet{nebivolol} which is a more selective for the heart ,but inderal is known to be good for migraine as well...for the first few weeks just watch standing up quick and things like that ,it is better started on a low dose and moved up as needed,,but apart from that it seems to be well tolerated by most.
Is tylenol cold multi symptom ok to take ? It says Acetaminophen , phenylephrine HCI , dextromethorphan HBr its pain reliever fever reducer nasal decongestant cough suppressant .
I try being on a diet but know i am taking Crestor 20mg for triglicerides, and nebivolol 5mg for my bp. I have had some cases of high heart beat and doctors said its nothing to worry about. I had onew 12 years ago, 1one 8 years ago and one 2 yeears ago.They come and go within 10 minutes.Its something with my electrical paths of my heart but doctors said there is no need to worry for now.My docotr said that high bp is due to my sensitive character, and tryglicerides is gentics.
insufficient stomach acid is the most common cause of acid reflux conditions! She stopped the PPI nexium, started betaine HCI with pepsin supplements (to help with low stomach acid) and digestive enzyme supplements and her severe GERD and LPR were gone; suffered both severely for 5 years. After a year and a half, her stomach is "retrained" with the betaine HCI to help produce its own acid. She only needs digestive enzymes now with meals.
I'm seriously addicted to Diphenhydramine (in Benadryl, etc.). Is anyone here addicted to this stuff that seems to be NOT addictive to everyone else but me? I finally found a place on the internet that talks about being addicted to Diphenhydramine HCI Like I am. I saw a member's (Unisom) posts here from a few years ago ...I had to write him and anyone who may be on here reading this.
