Is boniva a possible cause of papilloma virus on the eyelid going into the conjunctiva?

Bisphosphonates like Boniva have been associated rarely with uveitis. You would experience ocular pain, blurred vision, light sensitivity, loss of vision and possibly glaucoma if you had uveitis. Your ophthalmologist would be able to tell you right away if you had any uveitis and the Boniva could be discontinued if that were the case.
I noted that for the last several months whenever I took Boniva I had significant swelling under both eyes. Thus, when this past Sunday, 5/23 I developed the papilloma on my left lower eyelid (center) which at first seemed to have a point on top & next day became more elongated I thought Boniva. I would appreciate any feedback as to cause & what possible treatment. It, not very large & seems to be same size this first week.
I just went for a Dexa-Scan for my Osteoporsis. The technician looked at my med list and asked if I am taking Boniva and Synthroid. I answered yes. I take other meds other than those two she mentioned. I told her that I understood why she asked about the Boniva but I didn't understand why she asked about Synthroid. She told me that thyroid meds take from the bones and causes osteoporosis. WHAT??? How come no doctor ever told me?
Just a little bit of bone pain for the first 2 wks after the injection then, it goes away. That said, unfortunately, for me, my DEXA did not improve and my osteoporosis in my spine (the T-score) did not get better. Now, my doctor is sending me to a 'bone' clinic that apparently specializes in bone disorders such as osteoporosis. I have thought about this long and hard since getting my DEXA result.
I do private home health care. One of my patients asked me a question that I cannot find a reasonable answer to. She has always had regular bowel movements. Once every morning and once in the afternoon. Lately she has had an increase in her BMs. She does not have any cramping, but they are watery. This all started when she began to take Boniva several months ago. She stopped taking it 2 months ago. I have suggested that it has not all left her system yet and this may take some time.
But her bone density tests (I think) are fine. One physican gave her Synthroid, another told her to stop. One perscribed Boniva, another said no, cause she is a young lady. Here are her labs. Any comments?

in order to treat osteo you need to be on fosmax/ boniva or like substances and have hrt. your doctor you should sue.... because he perscribed it while having the knowledge of your bone health knowing it decreases the amount of calcium in your bones.

I recently had a mammogram which showed findings of a cyst. I needed additional views, so I returned three days later for a second mammogram of the left breast only, and it showed a nodule. I had an ultrasound the same day which showed an 8 mm benign cyst and several other subcentimeter benign cysts, some with low internal echoes (what are internal echoes?)
I've been on Prempro over 10 years and understand this could be the cause of the benign cysts.
I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and have noticed that recently I have a lot of pain in my teeth and jaw. This has prompted me to wonder if osteoporosis affects the teeth in general as they are inbedded in bone? And how so?
Also forgot to mention that last December my gyno put me on Boniva as according to my last two dexascans my numbers have dropped drastically. I am very worried about taking the Boniva. The first week after I take it I feel like I am coming down with the flu. Can all these issues be related to the thyroid?
They are given generally prescribed orally and include Fosamax, Actonel and Boniva. They can cause some severe stomach distress as they did for my father. When this happens there are injectable forms of bisphosphonates.
Ibandronate (Boniva injection) is injected into your vein once every three months, and zoledronic acid (Reclast) is injected once a year. If approved by your physician these treatments do not cause stomach distress and you do not have to remember to take a tablet.
My mom is having problem she is not being able to sleep , the dr gave her librax to be able to sleep. Even though sometimes she don't what should she do will she continue to sleep based on medicine knowing that not everyday she is being able to sleep. She did blood test iron level is good, vit B is good.
for the treatment of Osteoporosis and all have some value. One with a similar name (Boniva) is used quite often and is said to have good results. There was fluid present (behind my uterus, I believe) and my endometrial stripe was darker than she would have liked. She had me return 7 days after my period to repeat the vag US and there was more fluid and the endometrial stripe was a little better. A CA-125 was drawn which was 51. Now my doctor says I need to have my uterus and ovaries removed.
hi ladies I'm just wondering if any of you have the wic program and how it works. I want to apply for it but I'm not sure when I should before or after the baby is born. I'm 23 weeks.
