My father (84+) first showed signs of
urinary tract infection around mid-March. He had a continuous mild fever, swollen feet, and irritation while passing urine. We suspected UTI and got a urine culture/sensitivity test done on March 18. The report showed growth of E.coli.
Since then, he has been prescribed four courses of antibiotics, but his fever is not abating. He was first on Martifur 100 mg, then on ciprofloxacin, then moxifloxacin, and currently on Amikacin 500 (twice daily).
