She told me that the oral pill would metabolize through the liver much faster on Modafinil and so she put me on the Nuvaring.

My halitosis almost disappear by 75-90% when i am lying down facing left or right but facing the ceiling got worse because i can feel shortness of breathing with gag reflex at the lower part of my throat. I can handle the acid by lying down but i am not gonna lie down forever just to minimize the odor. I want my stomach to feel like i am lying down when i am not so i can walk anywhere halitosis free.

any advice or experiences that could help me understand would be really helpful please. My brother has started university to study architecture this year and due to the huge amount of nights he had to work, started going on modafinil. Now that the year is finished and he's not taking it however, he has become aggressive, irrational and rude. Does anyone know if this is because of the modafinil or if there's a link.
Hi I have had GERD for a few years now. I've never had halitosis. Recently my reflux started acting up, so i doubled my prevacid. I'm not sure what is causing my very horrid halitosis. I have figured out it is not dental related. In fact when I burp, I can feel the hot yucky gas coming up from my stomach. A recent google showed that prevacid can cause a side effect of halitosis. Other comments insist it is the GERD but I am not entirely convinced.
The intubation could have resulted in a throat and mouth infection and hence the consequent halitosis. You need to consult a doctor for proper assessment. In the meantime you can try warm salt water gargles and betadine mouthwashes.

I thought that would have fixed my halitosis but it did not. I have used all kinds of different mouthwashes and toothpastes and dental flosses. I have to use non-alcholic mouthwashes because listerine dries out my mouth and I have even rinsed out with water after using listerine so my mouth does not dry out. I have been suffering from my halitosis for many years and I can not figure out why? My next step is to go to the ENT doctor. Any suggestions or recommendations?
Over the years I have gone to several different dentists for help with halitosis. I have always gone for two teeth cleanings a year and have brushed, flossed and rinsed twice a day. I have searched the internet and asked the dentists for recommendations. I've tryed Therabreath, Closystem, profresh and baking soda/peroxide. They seem to all work for a while and then do not. Profresh has probably worked the best, but not for long.
I have severe gastric problem. I always burp.This halitosis problem is killing me. I am dying everyday. People doesnt like to talk to me, if this continues for some more time, i might go into depression. Could someone please help me.
I have been taking 100 grams of modafinil pills for about 2 weeks to get through exams and now that I have stopped taking anything, I am experiencing constant dizziness. I am wondering whether I should wait this out or whether I need to see a doctor asap....

I have been suffering with chronic halitosis for 13 years now. Its been a nightmare and just when I thought things could not get worse..they did. I now also have a terrible smell coming from my nose every time I exhale. I have seen a doctors who say they can't smell anything but my family members have told me that they can. ENT doctor said there is no infection in my nose and he thinks it could be coming from my stomach. He suspects its helicrobater pylori.
Can anyone please tell me if adrafinil (pre-cursor to Modafinil) will affect taking birth-control pills? In other words, if I occasionally take adrafinil to help me study - will it make the pills ineffective. I certainly don't want to get pregnant.
I know that long term use of Modafinil decreases the effectivenes of bc pills but how about short term use?

Hi. I need some help figuring out how Modafinil works. I basically have something which seems like Insomnia but it isn't. I believe I suffer from Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome. I have had it since I was 15, I am 25 now. The problem is that, I can't maintain a proper schedule. I can never sleep at a particular time everyday. It keeps moving as every day passes by. For example, right now I am sleeping at around 9 AM everyday and then I am getting up at around 5 PM.

Hey i have a big problem here.It start with a little Halitosis and Now it is power and come from nose too.I goes to dentist and nothing wrong,do candida test 2times and nothing.I also do an EGD and i have just a little reflux.The smell is power and the people can smell it from a lot of m.I try to do a diet to drink a lot of water but nothing work.On my tongue i also have something like small hairs yellow wich dont go away when i clean it.
If you are on certain medications it can dry you mouth out causing the halitosis. You could have tooth decay as that will cause bad breath. When you are brushing your test make sure you gently brush your tongue this will help with removibg food particles left in your moth and germs in general. Also gently brush along to roof of your mout. Make sure you are regularly flossing as it could be as simple as food is wedged in your back teeth causing a bad smell.
