I can't sleep was prescribed melatonin what is the maximum dosage I can take I am 16. 8 stone 12 about 5'10.

The Dr seen I was a person who enjoys a tan and did not warn me and got in the tanning bed, a usual thing for me to do and because I go a lot I stay in for the maximum time allowed. The first day after I started this drug I went to the tanning spa and boy! was I burned. My husband got so upset he told me to stay out of them. Well I came about this information the painful way so thanks to your post someone else will be spared our pain. Thanks!

when the doctor said 200 was the maximum he accepted that. He does seem to be doing well, but I am worried. what chance is there of his ever getting off of it, or at least onto a lower dose?

i actually had to be on mobic for a while. its generic name is meloxicam..its a nonsteriodal anti inflammitory. i am no longer taking it, but its good and works well.

My doctor wrote me a script for Mobic to help with some nerve pain. Im wondering if anyone knows if its similar to tramadol at all, Im hoping not, but anyone who has any helpful info please let me know. I cant start back on opiates again for the pain and Ive heard too many bad stories about tramadol to even consider it as an alternative. I am having trouble finding out what is a safe maximum dosage of Diamox for psuedotumor cerebri. When I had asked my daughters neurologist this question, she said there is no maximum dosage which I found hard to believe that there wouldn't be a max dose on any medication. Does anyone know if mobic is addictive? My doctor switched me to them today from loratab. I am glad because the loratab really is addictive and I would rather not have my body relying on anything. I have been on the loratab for a little over a year now and I feel like crap if I miss a day and go without it. Not only am I in pain (because of female problems and my back) but I feel like I have the flu. How long will I feel that way without it? since I switch my meds today.

My provider told me I have a little of Osteo arthritis and has prescribed me Mobic for the pain. Now, since like a month ago, I have been feeling like big pulses on my legs, buttock, arms, neck, face, back and stomack at times. t know how much I can help but my hubby takes Lyrica 600mg a day which is the maximum dosage. He is also on oxycontin, both for severe back pain. The oxycontin he craves and is addicted to (currently tapering down from) but the Lyrica he does not crave at all and sometimes doesn't take any at all during the day.

Today a Doctor gave me a script for Mobic,for wrist pain that I have had for the past month from repative work,my Urate levels are at 52 just over limit.Im on Asprin and fluid tablets which can raise these levels. Yes you can take Mobic with a narcotic pain med. Mobic is a NSAID, and has the same risks as other NSAIDS. In high doses it can cause some kidney issues, the vicodin has tylenol in it and can cause some liver issues in high doses. But they are safe to take together. Typically what you want to watch for is multiple NSAIDS, or Multiple meds with tylenol.

Cough is not a side effect of this medication but you are way over the maximum dosage and need to address "why". Good luck.

Usually when Psychiatrist refer to "maximum dose" they are refering to the maximum effective dose at which any more of the drug is simply never going to produce further theriputic results. I know it sound as if it means "max dose" as in "that's the most you can take before the danger level" but that's not usually the case. For example if the maximum effective dose of Effexor is shown to be 350Mgs a day.
