How about you try food supplements that have shown to have equal efficacy to Ritalin,Multiple vitimin with B Complex and Vit C . also Fish oil and been tried by many parents,with success, go into your local whole food store,if you have one called "Sprouts "they are very good and will go online for you to find what you need in a Natural Remedy to help you.If the drugs you have been trying dont work its time to find something less invasive that will, Good Luck.
i got a new dr and he canged me from adderall to methylin generic ritalin....do they have kinda same ingrediaents..it to be used for depresssion but he said i have some add symptoms also on on xanax and prozac,,he is upping my prozac...
My 11 year old son has the following symtoms after a streptosyme infection found in his blood in Nov 2008, and after taking methylin for 5 days in Dec 2008. Could this be related to dystonia and why?
1. frequent blinking
2. painful finger cramping
3. stress induced twitches in left side extremities
4. involuntary movements/jerks in left side extremities
5. muscle stiffness and jerks in left arm, hand, fingers, leg, foot, and toes when trying to relax

I have even been given Methylin to try and help get me reved up. Does not help either! So, I do not know what else they could possibly have in their bag of tricks for folks like us...But, I hope it is something and soon ;0

My son was diagnosed with ADHD with impulsivity at 2 years old. I started medication 2 years ago and he has been on 3mL of Quillivant for the past year. I give it at 7:45 and by 2:30 it has worn off. It has been great and so far the only side effect I have seen is a lack of appetite. At 2:30, the impulsivity starts again so the doctor prescribed him methylin 5mL and that doesn't work at all and upsets his stomach. Has anyone had s similar experience?
He takes stimulant medication (Methylin), and this helps quite abit, particularly with his hyperactivity. It also helps him to focus better. One of my friends has a daughter who is about the same age as our son, and she recently completed a five-week program to help her with attention and memory. The program is called Cogmed Working Memory Training. Do you think this might help our son?

Just a bit of personal experience to add to this discussion...I take methylin(a time release form of ritalin) for ADHD regularly. However, during a severe episode of MS-like sx lasting 2 1/2 months this winter, I couldn't tolerate taking the stimulant since it suddenly caused lots of side effects like trembling, tremor, racing heartbeat, increased hyperreflexia, etc.
He was on adderall for 3 years until my medical stopped covering it. Now he is on Methylin ER. He also chews on things, especially the coller around his jacket, if he doesn't have that on its his shirts, he will also chew on his fingernails, or the skin around his nails, his toys etc..so I know what you mean. I don't know why they do this, it could be part of the disorder or an affect from the meds. I don't get mad at him anymore because then he does it more.
You are asking the same question, even after being answered earlier that oral sex is not a risk. It seems that you either have anxiety issues or guilt issues. Either way, this forum will not help you with that. You need to seek out professional help for those issues.

Hi, I need some advice. I've had a sore throat for a long time, it started after I gave unprotected oral sex to a man(I'm a woman). We had protected sex. I did a home oral swab for gonorrhoea and chlamydia,which came back negative. I then had one done at the hospital again for gonorrhoea and chlamydia,which came back negative but at the same time a test at the doc came back positive for oral thrush. I had treatment for that. I still have a sore throat and now I have one gland up.

There is virtually no risk in him giving you oral, regardless of the details. Nobody has ever been infected this way.

I have another question. A little over 4 months ago, I had brief oral sex with a guy that I really do not know to well. He did not ejaculate, but there is the chance of pre-*** and I had a cut in my mouth. I was tested at 3 and 4 months and he said that he was tested before our nite, I take full responsiblity for my actions, but I don't trust anyone. Welcome to our Forum. I'll be happy to weigh in, as well as to ask a few clarifying questions. First my assessment- I would put the odds at 90/10 that this is a longstanding infection in your spouse which has only recently been detected. The events you describe, the "inefficiency" of oral to genital transmission, and the rather low prevalence of high risk oral HPV all lead me to this conclusion.
Now to my clarifying questions which might change my thoughts.
m a 31 year old male and about 5 months ago I noticed 2 bump on the side at the very back of my tongue which can only been seen if I stick it out really far, I went to the doctors because I also had a whiteish or yellow patch on the top of my tongue which they thought was due to gerd (acid reflux) they also mentioned mild thrush and put my on Medican for both (the nystatin did nothing for oral thrush) so they concluded it was acid reflux.
