Common Questions and Answers about Men's health forum magazine

Avatar f tn After reading daily all the challenges everyone is going through, the common "I can't take it" statement, I came upon this article in the Men's Health magazine from the doc next door (Dr. Jeffrey T Junig) who advises in the doctor forum of addiction on medhelp. His story has truly inspired me and I hope that it will all of you as well. WARNING !! It can be quite disturbing to some, but it makes you think...if HE overcame all of that.....then surely we can as well. Happy reading.
585936 tn?1234770046 Hi, I'm 17 and I'm turning 18 soon I used to masterbate alot and I stopped for the basic fact that it felt like it was stunting my growth down below I'm about 6 to 6 3/4 inches I'ts not thick either I realize that most people say that is big When I'm not erected I'm about 2 inches I'm shooting for atleast 8 inches and I know you guys get tired of people sending in their wishlist on penis growth but I'm concerned about mine I recently looked through a magazine with information regarding t
Avatar n tn How long does it take for genital warts to raise above the skin, once you notice a potential wart? I recently read a men's health magazine that talked about how warts can appear years after a sexual encounter, and have since been inspecting my genitals very closely. About 10 days ago I noticed on the top side of the head of my penis, a roundish area about 1/16-1/8" that looked to be a different shade (lighter) than the surrounding skin.
Avatar n tn Seriously, mama, do you think the doctor is going to molest him in the exam room? (If so, why are you going to that doctor?) Look at it this way. If the Men's Health forum is any indicator, teenagers (especially young ones) experience tons of angst over things that someone their mom's age and gender would think inconsequential (or even unintendedly hilarious). But they are neither inconsequential nor hilarious to the teenager.
Avatar m tn Anyway, after reading all these posts, which you must admit aren't the most uplifting, I went out and got a magazine. Men's Health. Get it? I turned the page from thinking about illness and mental states and switched to health. Only cost me $3.95. My apologies. I think I am panicking about not being able to stop this health kick.
Avatar m tn Last one is very important I got this from men's health magazine. Get on all fours. Hands and knees on the floor. Keep your back straight and use your arms to move your upper body forward. Your knees is kept at the position at all times. Your upper body will be lower than your back. This builds muscles in the back. This is exetremely important especially if you are building muscles.
Avatar n tn Please let me know what you find out, and I will do my best to post my findings as well.
Avatar f tn dont ever get an answer, and by the time they do, they usually are frustrated and dont post anymore replies. This forum is supposed to be helpful to everyone, and I feel I can be a helper, and I know there are others on here who are very helpful, so give it a try. I want to see what kind of things I can accomplish that are positive. Thank you so much for reading this! Have a nice day!!
Avatar n tn Apparently it can happen if semen backs up into the prostate due to interrupted ejaculation, reverse gravity position, etc, and then hardens (could be hours to days later). They suggested over-hydrating and then "rubbing it out", but I usually just take a couple of Advil and sleep on my stomach.
Avatar f tn Hi and welcome to the GERD forum. There still may be something in ur Vegan diet that is causing ur symptoms to flare, try keeping a journal of what u eat, when , how much, and how u feel it may be something most would not have a reaction to, we are all different and it may be something u consider safe with GERD...but for u it is not.
Avatar n tn I know the feeling. I am 51 and have recently lost about 25 pounds, but have consisently exercised and taken buku supplements. I have noticed my tricep skin puckering at different angles as well as my thighs. You feel like "this is the thanks I get for watching my weight and taking so many supplements that my stomach is screaming!" Forgive me, but at least on a forum, I can be a "crybaby" rather than put up the good front that I do throughout my real day.
Avatar m tn This method has also helped some people on this forum reach parts of their sinuses that weren't reached by a Flip-Turn Flush. One user reported his success with this method to his ENT, who informed him that he has been using this method for 35 years. I went outside to try this method (you can do it inside, on towels) I sat down on the ground, legs bent, knees up.
Avatar n tn You've simply gotten used to that very mild mood lift that the PHENYLEPHRINE HCL provides you. PHENYLEPHRINE HCL is one of those ersatz speed-like drugs these guys in the back of men's magazine like to sell in black capsules claiming they're legal "black beauties." You've got what amounts to becoming addicted to coffee for its caffeine.
Avatar n tn I am taking a probiotic and Colloidal Silver to see if it will help. Both of these items can be purchased through a health food store. I've been taking it now for about two weeks. My symptoms are slowly getting better but still feels uncomfortable. I'm wondering if my partner needs to be treated, could he be a carrier of this??
Avatar n tn I'm in a similar situation. I'm 30, my boyfriend is 28. I've had health problems. He says the health problems don't change his view of me. Maybe this is bunk. If marriage didn't exist, my relationship would be perfect. No two people more right for each other. Yadda yadda. I'm not going to get into the details. What makes me angry about this is how many of you women I see being exceptionally cool about the whole deal. You know what you want -- committment. You want long term stability.
Avatar n tn 1. The health (standard skin health). 2. The function (urinoir dispenser, reproductive, pleasure). 3. The maintenance (standard health management according to the area's condition). 4. The aplication (serving the only husband is the safest to avoid STD, HIV, AIDS, & damage due to extreme use). Every nature creation, including in genetic factors, must have special aim. Nothing is 100% similar.
Avatar n tn ) Went to the doc this AM... said that it just an auto- immune reaction since the tingles / pain / numbness / cold is "jumping around" and stops and starts. Also said that since I have an auto-immune problem that I need to try to avoid sick people and stay as healthy as I can, rest etc and let my body correct itself. They did tons of blood work and will have the results by the end of the week.
Avatar n tn in my rapid healing foods book it says you hould realese it once a month for healty contractions. it messes with your prostate gland. i stopped for 2 weeks for health ive been to the gym lift heavier weights when you stop this ******** when i masturbate then go gym you get a head ache it says in my book you get lower back pain feel tired and lazy and i cant lift heavy weights. you go weak and skiny if you masturbate always.
Avatar n tn I too have this violent coughing, it is a tickling/itching sensation in a small spot below my right jaw and ear, it goes away after I cough so hard it rattles that spot, my eyes water, nose runs and it gives almost no warning. It all started a few years ago when I developed what seems like bronchitis.
Avatar n tn You might want to post on the doctors forum. It will cost you but they might know more about this issue than the regular uneducated person. Don't stop searching for an answer or solution. I'm sure there is one!!!!
Avatar n tn There is a good article in Women's Health this month in regards to Chronic pain and the fact that sometimes the nerve does not "shut off" long after the injury has healed. At least this would account for the fact that nothing shows on MRI's, X-Rays, CAT scans, Bone Scans etc., etc.. The hope was that the nerve blocks that I had would work "like shutting down and restarting your computer". One worked for 4 days, the next one 2 (they won't repeat them).
Avatar f tn I am so glad i found this discussion forum as i have been strugling with the same issue and thought i was alone. Its not something you can talk to just anyone about. Please keep us posted on the liposuction or any other solution.
Avatar n tn Dear miztp: Microcalcifications are small calcium deposits found within the breast tissue. There are different types of microcalcifications, and based on their pattern on the mammogram it gives the radiologist clues as to their cause. For instance microcalcifications that are more scattered are probably due to a benign (non-cancerous) cause, a “cluster” of microcalcifications may increase concern that there may be an underlying tumor. There may or may not be any 'lesion' visible on mammography.
Avatar f tn I am at the point of doing anything to get answers. Tonight I decided to search on-line and found this forum and could not believe what I was reading. It was as though I had written it all. I then proceeded to research brachioradial pruritis and am still in awe of what I have found. I have printed quite a bit of reading for my doctor on the next visit. I did rupture the C5 AND C6 in my neck and had to have surgery, this definitely has shined some light on my misery.
Avatar n tn If you're taking this pill just to loose weight, and not for a health reason, you should stop taking it, and see that if you keep eating healthy, and walking, you'll still loose! And BTW, taking this pill 10 mins before a meal to help with your appetite is crazy! All diet pills tell you to take it 30min.s before each meal.. b/c it takes 30 min.s to start working...10 min.s? that pill isn't doing anything for you when you're eating!
Avatar n tn Luckily my girlfriend is a champ and isn't too conserned about me getting off, but she's more worried if there are any health issuse i need to be aware of... I don't really think I'm comfortable enough to say "I'm addicted to porn!" Oh well, I suppose I'll take everyone's addvice and just cut back on the porn and masturbation.
Avatar n tn Oops! I forgot to mention that I do have a friend that took Topamax for migraines. She said it helped her immensely, but she did lose weight with it. I don't think she had any of the bad side effects, but I am not for sure.
280700 tn?1210287416 Hi there, I just stumbled across this forum and was encouraged by all the posts. It is great to hear others stories. I am still getting used to all the abbreveations for everything so bear with me.. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 21, I am now 33 and was just married in Aug08. My husband and I surprisingly got pregnant right away. and I mean surprisingly b/c I was under the impression with my PCOS that it would take a long time and the need of meds etc.....
