After researching pc for the past three years,I believe there are just way to many gray areas in the medical world regarding this problem.I believe you should leave it alone,change your diet,and take your chances.Surgery,radiation,etc actually can make things worse.There seems to be no benefit to all these procedures,and it does not really extend your life span.It is a big money maker.Let me hear some opinions.

I am on effexor and am experiencing memory loss. I have been on it for years at 225 mg I am a practicing bulimic, recovered alcoholic, ex smoker and exercise regularly. I am 61 and eat right in the morning and day, but the evenings are always shot. my question is does antidepressive medicine cause memory loss?
m on methadone and at the end of the visit my dr told me I had to do a urine test. So he wrote me my scripts and then on my way out I had to go pee in the cup, then I paid and left. So what I'm asking is if something was wrong with my test would they call me back that same day or even the next day to come in and discuss it or would he discuss it with me at my next visit?
Upon doctors suggestion went for all possible test. Lucky all test were perfect and every thing in normal range (Testerone, glucose, cholesterol, bla bla bla all were normal). I have average weight and height and except impotence every thing else is very much normal. I can jog for 4 kilometres without break. I can swim 2 complete laps non stop underwater in an Olympic size pool. Stamina is good and don't get tired easily.
Actually wanted to know , is it extentended version of OCD or any other problems . Also he has memory issues forgets easily new learnt subjects but Old memory are intact . Also feeling tired ,sleepinees after reading ,working on PC for a hour or so which requires more concentration .So wanted to know any isssue with brain.
I agree, that it is hard to choose. I like all of the Nintendo Systems, including the PC. :) I had to vote Nintendo Wii though, as I believe that one is the best. I really like Rock Band 2 for it.
Over the past few years he has had a serious loss in memory, has trouble rememering things he told you or you told him hours earlier. He also blacks out and gets lite headed when standing up too fast. He has been tested for everything and no doctor has found anything wrong with him. He is getting worse by the day. Has trouble walking some days, can't remember, gets very dizzy, blacks out, has to hold onto things while standing up, etc.
I feel AWFUL! Dizzy, lethargic, short term memory problems, chronic yeast infections, soft fingernails, weight gain, joint and muscle pain, and welts.
My endo and PC physician will not treat me with any meds because my labs are still in "normal" range. As I read so many of your posts and hear of the success many of you have had on low doses of meds I am confused why my docs won't treat me.
The only thing I take is Vit. D supplement.
PC: 24yr female, presents with a 2-3 month history of LOC with persistent headache, visual disturbance, intermittent vomiting, dizziness and fatigue.
HPC: Increasingly over the last 9 months to a year have had worsening and change in my migraines and felt more nauseous and dizzy.
I've had a few pale stools over the past few months. They are usually loose. When they are loose they float but when they are firm they often sink.
In addition to the stools, I have also been experiencing a dull pain under my rib cage on the upper right part of my abdomen. It will sometimes be a sharp pain that briefly makes it hard to take a deep breath but usually is more of an annoyance than anything else. I also have heartburn regularly that I treat with zantac as needed.

Some time passed, my eyes were kinda red-ish and one day my eyes started to burn and feel sore after some hours on PC and I thought that my eyes are just exhausted from too much PC (it usually starts to happen after MANY hours of non-stop work, but it is not so bad) so I took a rest. Over the years, I feel like I have lost sensation on my penis and the orgasm sensations. For the past 3 weeks, I have tried not to sit so much to recover any feeling back.
