Well my job ended after a week, they hired on too many people) so i ended up coming home. I figured that i had been taking somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 mg. I got home and started taking ones that weren't expired that a friend gave me, i took 225mg and it didn't do a damn thing. I feel sick from the methadone still, am not sleeping and i feel the effects of withdrawal from the effexor.

I was just wondering what you y'all do for the legitimate pain after detoxing off opiates. I have spinal stenosis and a couple of degenerative disk. I know the pain is magnified right now, but I'm not getting enough relief in between. This is what caused me to relapse the last time. I'm taking the maximum daily dose of Advil a day with hot showers and a heating pad. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
I am having trouble finding out what is a safe maximum dosage of Diamox for psuedotumor cerebri. When I had asked my daughters neurologist this question, she said there is no maximum dosage which I found hard to believe that there wouldn't be a max dose on any medication.
My daughter is 15 yrs old and had been prescribed a total of 2500 mg per day divided into 3 doses.
Does anyone know the max dose for diamox?

I have had bad reactions to regular novocaine in the past, prior to my SVT diagnosis in 2001, so he has given me lidocaine since then. For the past ten years prior to my ablation in April 2011, I was on beta blockers (atenolol) so there were no issues. I was taken off beta blockers 3 weeks after my ablation. Have had dental work requiring lidocaine since then, with no issues until now.
While he was injecting the second shot of novocaine, an SVT episode suddenly triggered.
Twelve hundred mg is considered the maximum daily dose for over-the-counter use, though under medical direction, a maximum daily dose of 3200 mg may sometimes be used in increments of 600–800 mg.
I would speak with your doctor specifically about how much you should be using and use as directed, until then, I would play on the safe side and alternate, unless you have an allergy to acetaminophen, but take no more than 500-650mg at a time, every six hours, alternating.
I'm sorry, I missed the Hashi's dx - my mistake. I don't see anything that indicates you had a thyroid ultra sound? Please don't tell me I missed that too, in spite of going back and reading again...........LOL
It's possible that you have nodules that are leaking hormone independently of the thyroid gland itself. This can swing you from hypo to hyper very quickly.
I do have partial block of the right leg of the His cluster, but this supposedly occurs in 20% of people and is not considered an illness, the only contradiction being I could never be a professional athlete. I had never before encountered any heart-related issues.
So I would be delighted to be able to write about post-operative pain or even have some to some degree, but I don't!!!

My daughter now 17.5 has been in severe pain for 4 years (as of 8/18). One day we were playing tennis, next day could not get out of bed and since has not been able to walk at all. They cannot see what's wrong on MRI, long story there, but now in MA the docs are going to give her lidocaine infusions and started her on nortriptyline 10 mg with increasing doses.

t doing well and you raised them on your own to see if it would help which is never a good idea? What is the dose that you are taking? What dose did you take today? I could give you some more information then. But more importantly if you are starting to feel sick then you might have taken above what is the reccomended maximum dosage and clearly you are encountering some side effects.

You can't go through this alone. Our plan was for me to be with my daughter during the whole stay in hospital. After all she had a partial nephrectomy a few months earlier and I stayed the whole time in hospital with her with no issues.
This time it was different.
has anyone else have their Dr start lowering your dose of pain meds without giving you a "real" reason? I've had CRPS (RSD) for over 5 years now, and within the past few months she's weaning me off of them but not giving anything else to help with the pain. She keeps stating people in China do not have the drug issues we do here in the USA, I told them to test me. I don't know what else to do, anyone have any ideas? any help would be appreciated, I'm at a loss.
