9536744 tn?1414122031 Has Anyone gone to a chiropractor while pregnant if so how was your experience?
Avatar f tn I've seen several posts about seeing a chiropractor. How is that possible?! I was told until after baby is born. I would be there in a heartbeat if I could be!
Avatar f tn Has anyone been seeing a chiropractor duting their pregnancy and was it beneficial?
Avatar f tn I went to massage therapy and it was wonderful. Didn't go to the chiropractor though. Don't do a normal spa formassage. Talk to a sports massage place or one thatcaters to those recovering from car accidents.
480331 tn?1310403529 Has anyone ever gone to a Chiropractor while pregnant for an adjustment? I would love to do it, but I'm a little skeptical. My back is a little achey and I have constant pressure around my right rib cage area. I've heard a good adjustment can help ease the pain/pressure. Any experience with this?
Avatar n tn I am a massage practitioner myself, and I would highly recommend you to get a massage, instead of getting your back cracked by a chiropractor, especially during pregnancy. It'll be much safer and you'll have better results. ;-) plus its so relaxing. :-) go enjoy a massage!
Avatar f tn Luckily my husband is a chiropractic assistant so I get free adjustments, but even if you can only make it in once a month it will help. I strongly suggest a chiropractor and/or seeing a massage therapist when you can. If you are limited on funds, look up some ways your partner can apply pressure or massage your problem areas. I am a massage therapist and a good way to deal with spasms is if you or someone applies strong pressure to the area for 90 seconds.
Avatar f tn Has anyone seen a chiropractor for orthostatic hypotension? I have had a sore spot around my spin in the base of my neck since my symptoms (lightheadedness and blurred vision) started in December. My husband massages my neck when it gets really tight, and has noticed a popping feeling lately. I have also felt it when I message it. I have never been to a chiropractor, and haven’t felt comfortable with it, but someone highly recommended a local doctor.
9062499 tn?1426957962 From America but i know prenatal massages are safe. They never touch the belly, feet hands, back, legs, neck and head only. I had one it was great. Just look up a good massage therapists and ask if they offer prenatal massages.
Avatar n tn You could start off with a massage to see if there's any relief... but I doubt that will do much for this particular pattern of pain. Either way, I would definitely meet with a reputable chiropractor in your area for evaluation.
Avatar f tn Thanks everyone! I will look into going to the chiropractor. I couldn't commit to 2 times a week though! I also have a gift certificare for a massage which i am thinking i could use right about now! Just want to lessen the pain some. I walk loke a 90 year old!
Avatar f tn Hello~I highly suggest seeing a chiropractor. You undoubtedly have many misaligned vertebrae due to the attack.
1627868 tn?1333886342 It sounds to me as if you're having some spasticity in your back. Mainly what a chiropractor does is just 'crack' your back. They'll give you some bushwa about subluxation, but don't believe it! You're getting relief from stretching those muscles and popping the nitrogen bubbles. What I would do is seek out a massage therapist, preferably one that does deep tissue massage. It'll hurt like you-know-what, but when they're done, you'll feel much better.
5501743 tn?1390296087 I was going to get a Prenatal massage but my bf said it could just make it worse? So I wanna do a chiropractor first. What did they do to you?
8732981 tn?1400768789 They are okay but definitely make sure its well ventilated and they don't massage the back of the ankles. My brother is a chiropractor and massage therapist. That was his one big thing to me...don't rub the ankles!!
Avatar m tn Has anyone gotten this massaged out before? I heard a chiropractor can do it but I am not sure, if so, what kind of chiropractor?
Avatar f tn I just asked my doctor about that. He said a heating pad or a massage. He also suggested chiropractor or physical therapy.
Avatar f tn I still see my chiropractor due to my neck pain (sleeping *****)... You can see a massage therapist or a chiropractor as long as they are trained for maternity. They cannot use "ten's therapy" on you (the pads that send electric pulses into the muscle) but you can get adjustments and spot massages.
Avatar f tn I know you can seek difinative diagnosis from either a bone specialist or a chiropractor. However, if you choose the latter- you MUST and I mean MUST make sure they have experience in slipped or bulging disks first.
6348634 tn?1395198305 Ice pack, massage or chiropractor... I love my weekly chiropractor visit.
Avatar f tn U can also go get a,massage for prego ladys or pedii , massage chair . Where im curdently at there not a lot of places wer you can go and there tooo expensive so what I do is lay on my left side and sleep with a pillow between my legs. Avatar f tn Does anyone get treated by their chiropractor for their pregnancy back aches? Is it worth it to go? Or will the pain just come back?
