Common Questions and Answers about Massage oils and lotions

massage

Avatar m tn Further, the chemical composition of the oils and lotions would be toxic for HIV. As a result, there is absolutely no risk of your acquiring HIV from massage oils or lotions, no matter who had used it before. The pimple on your rear end in no way changes this assessment. This was a no risk event. There is no need for concern or for testing.
Avatar f tn I went for an erotic massage and about 10 lapsed between when I received a massage and when my massuese massaged her last client. I am almost certain the massuese washed her hands prior to giving me a massage, but I am concerned if some residual dry semen was left on her hand prior to the massuese massaging me. The only erotic activity was for the massuese to run the palm of her hand over the tip of my penis about 4 times. Prior to doing this she massaged me for about 6 minutes.
Avatar f tn ( @hellojojo2427 I just said that. Lotions and oils help with irritation and itching. Scratching causes them to be worse.
Avatar f tn Ive used the regular mederma off and on and i noticed a difference
Avatar n tn I booked a normal massage and it wasnt untill i got there and told them im pregnant they had to go and consult therr manager because there is certain lotions/oils there not allowed to use on pregnant woman and certain pressure areas they have to avoid ect.
Avatar m tn our genital skin is very sensitive and not unusual at all to have a reaction to the oils/lotions they use at those sort of places.
Avatar n tn Getting stretch marks or not depends mostly on ur genetics, how soon u gain weight and your hydration. Lotions and creams help ur skin to stay hydrated but just drinking lots of water does the same thing. They also help with the itching. But the main thing u can do is hope that ur genetics are good one and keep a healthy diet and exercise so u don't get way too big to where ur skin tears (underneath underneath skin) with the stretching and stay very hydrated.
Avatar f tn m 36 weeks and also have developed stretch marks even though I used the lotions and tummy butter, I looked online for some remedies and a few places said to use olive oil - and it does seem to be helping more than the lotions were! I massage it in for 5 min or so before bed. Hope it helps good luck!
Avatar m tn I have read through the forum and realize that handjobs alone are no risk, I just wanted to make sure my details didn't change that assessment. I received a handjob from a thai massage place. i have some sort of rash on my testicles. nurse practitioner told me it was jock itch or fungal infection. two red circles skin peeled at first now skin is just red kind of itchy and "thick". i used tinactin and it didn't really help.
Avatar n tn I had a "massage" and the lady had a bowl of oil which she warm up and performed the nice massage, if this bowl is not cleaned after @ client, can the HIV virus survive in it... Could I got it?
Avatar f tn I believe she washed her hands prior to starting my massage; I also inspected her hands prior to the massage and saw no signs or cuts and they appeared to be dry. If the women did clean her hands properly, and she had residual dry semen on her hands from a prior customer, could dry semen still transmit an STD such as gonorrhea? Prior to touching my penis she massaged my back and ran her hands over my cotton underpants, she then applied lotions on her hands prior to touching my penis.
Avatar n tn I have one more questions, I know that oils used at massage parlors can cause some irritation and maybe burning sensation. From your experience how long does the irritation from it last?
Avatar f tn If its going to happen it will and NOTHING will prevent them. Lotions and creams and oils help reduce the appearance but if they are going to be there they will. Also most stretchmarks seem to occur at the very end of pregnancy. A friend of mine had none and then a week before her due date she woke up and they were there. ***** but its part of being a mom.
Avatar f tn I am a massage therapist and it is perfectly safe for you to receive massage during pregnancy just so long as it is prenatal and they avoid specific lower body acupressure points along your feet and calves. Now, this is not to say they must avoid those areas at all costs, but no specific reflexology may be done there because it can cause adverse side effects. It is highly recommended that you receive massage during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn ve read about it and might actually try it this time around... With the Tea do you just drink it everyday? And the oil how does that work sorry I am new to this lol.
Avatar f tn Okay I know they have lotions and oils to help scars and stretch marks but I have a big colorful Tattoo basically covering the whole left side of my stomach and I was wondering will the helpful lotions and oils make my tattoo fade???
Avatar f tn Got a full body massage by my husband with the baby oil I got from my baby shower!! He was like thats the babies hhaahh- Don't own any body oils and the baby oil was great. The massage took the tiredness and crabby away. Highly recommend it ladies!
Avatar f tn s okay to do, talk to your Dr about what you can do besides walking. Keeping your muscles tone will help more than lotions and oils, although lotions and oils will help them not get bad.II've hardly used anything on my belly, as a natter a fact I've used cocoa butter a handful of times early on before I even started showing, I'm almost 30 weeks with no stretch marks at all. It helped that my muscles were tone pre pregnancy, and I continue to exercise.
Avatar m tn Hate to tell you but creams and serums and lotions truthfully don't stop stretch marks. You either get them or don't. It's hereditary or depends on how big your baby gets. Any Dr will tell you the same thing. Creams truthfully help with elasticity but that primarily helps out AFTER birth to actually help your skin spring back.
Avatar n tn It is different for everyone. I started using oils and creams the second I found out I was pregnant. I started getting strech marks around 29 weeks.. I still use the creams and oils a few times a day even though I have strech marks. Maybe they will lighten or be less noticable? Good luck!
Avatar f tn I'm a massage therapist and use essential oils around 8-10 times a day during massage it has come to my knowledge some of these oils can be harmfull to the baby I am 15 weeks at this moment in time and have been using them since being 3 weeks pregnant. I just don't understand what I can possibly do and I don't know any massage therapists that have continued work through pregnancy.
