marinol

Avatar n tn I started smoking when I was 8, was up to a pack a day by 13 and quit at 36 in 2001, so smoking was a way of life for me. I grew up incorporating smoking into everything from eating to how I dealt with stress, so believe me when I say it was as hard for me as anyone. The way to do it is with the patch. I tried the patch in the past but wasnt successful until I followed the 5 important factors to success. 1. Don't run out, even for a day. Keep your supply full.
Avatar f tn It was about using negative side effects of a drug to make someone quit using and if you read my post I didnt say people die from pot smoking, I said look up negative effects of smoking.
Avatar n tn IF THE TX GETS TO ROUGH ON ME AND MY DR WANTS ME TO TRY THE MARINOL I PROBABLY WILL GO WITH THE HERB VS THE PILL BUT GET THE SCRIPT FILLED ANY WAY AS I WORK IN A FEDERAL HOSPITAL AND AM SUBJECT TO RANDOM DRUG SCREENS. MOST PT.'S I HAVE ASKED ABOUT IT SAY THAT THE PILLS JUST DONT WORK. BE AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY THAT YOU COULD BE CHARGED WITH A CRIME FOR POT, NOT SURE WHAT THE LAWS ARE WHERE YOU LIVE.
Avatar f tn If you dont want to use it your self why would anyone want it legalised, what reason could there be, I actually do believe its more harmful than alcohol, ..and what, about the smoking part so then its okay to smoke, I thought the left wanted to be rid of smoking ...so the kids of cigs& pot smoking parents will then for sure copy them ..Sorry but I just dont get it... ...
Avatar f tn First, Susan400, you have my total admiration. You are clearly one strong person. Hang in there. New Sojourn, you suggested she smoke a joint, which brings up a question I've had. My Dr. told me that if smoking a little pot helped, then "it's another tool in our arsenal and you won't get any complaints from me.
Avatar n tn This article really makes me feel less alone, i relate so much. I'm young but i've never liked drinking, smoking pot, etc.. but realized the one thing i really liked were opiates, i would abuse them through high school and off and on for the last 2 or 3 years.. but i never felt addicted. I just loved feeling myself for once and everything was so much better. Currently i'm on xanax ER & xanax IR, they help with the physical effects of anxiety but never get me out of this slump i'm in.
