Does anyone have firsthand experience/knowledge/comments/recommendations regarding Rozerum? I'd greatly appreciate any and all input and/or insight, where it be good, bad, or indifferent, or information from anyone who has done research regarding its use (if the latter is the case, please send me the URL to bookmarked articles or other medical literature, especially regarding its efficacy.

Hey all, so I got tired of not sleeping more than 4hrs a night after being off of Tramadol 42days and my Dr gave me Lunesta. I asked if it was addicting and he said yes but you won't buid up a tolerance to it... I would like to hear this though from someone that has taken this medication and has had to come off it... How hard was it? What where the wds like???ect.ect any info on this would be appreciated...Thank You. Jeffi.

The highest available dose of Lunesta is 3mg. Recently, thought is that Lunesta, Ambien, and others in this class are very similar to benzodiazepine drugs. But I haven't read much about addiction or withdrawl from these meds. Seems like insomnia would be a given, but you could try melatonin or valerian root to combat that. Good luck either way.

so when I was in the Er last night they gave me Lunesta a sleeping pill to help me sleep I'm 31 w 5 d n my mom told me its not safe...is it..I mean babys fine n stuff but the hospital wouldn't give it to me if it wasent ok right ?

It's 3 weeks since I've been having a pretty serious depression, including anxiety & sleeplessness. I was put on a new antidepressant LexiPro (15 days now), xanax as needed, which I only need to "take the edge off" when Im shaky, and Lunesta to sleep. This is the 2nd time I've used Lunesta.

thanks for the comments.. just left the pain dr and he gave me something called savella for leg pain, and im gonna go to wal mart to get the supplements. I wont be on any narcotics at all for atleast 2 weeks and at that point ill reassess whether or not I need them. Its been so long since the injury, who know what kind of pain I am in. Everyone says the pain is not what it seems while on meds, is that true? I dont wanna be a slave to these drs anymore or a slave to the medicine.

* Additional medications should be added such as trazadone, lamictal, and sleep aides (Ambien, lunesta), or atleast the ability to enter in your own. * For real value, a user should have a drop down on the medications that allow you to select a dosage. You could do this in 5mg increments and go from 5-200. If someone is on mutiple medications - or even one - this would allow them to track there 'mood' according to the level of medication or combination they are trying.

Lunesta seems to work okay for me. I've only taken it three or four times (I only take it as needed and not on a nightly basis.) I was prescribed Klonopin for anxiety and sleep and she said to not take it with Lunesta (this is after I asked *her*, she didn't mention it until then.) The Klonopin seems to work as well as the Lunesta, BTW. Kevin, I've read that Lunesta and Ambien are the same "types" of sleep aids but that is all I know. I hope Ryan can clear this up for us.

I am currently taking the following for FMS: Celexa (depression), Ultram (pain) Vicodin (bad pain), Lunesta (to stay asleep), and now Provigil (to stay awake in the day). I have say, these all are helping, but maybe about 50%. The pain never goes away, only flucuates to bad or worse. The Lunesta is great. I tried Ambien & Sonata, but couldn't handle the side effects. Lunesta keeps me asleep but doesn't make me feel hung-over in the morning.

I have been on Lunesta 3 mg for 10 years. PTSD and Chronic insomnia following a MVA 10 years ago.. Also, just tapered off Lexapro I was also on this for 10 years and it took me 6 months to taper down. Been on 1mg Xanex for 10 years and stopped abruptly last week. Stopped the Lunesta 5 days ago cold turkey, and same thing with the xanex- Severe withdrawl symptoms appeared 5 days ago.

I posted a question last night and fell asleep. I wanted to read all the comments but I don't know how to get back to it! I figured out how to do it last night for the first time but today I'm so lost and can't remember how I did it. Help please!

I take between 14-20 7,5 vicadene everyday for 10 yrs then take 9 mg of lunesta to sleep.

I dont know why it is making me nausea. My doc then perscribed lunesta 3mg. Has anyone tried lunesta and experienced better sleep with it? I am afraid of trying lunesta because i dont want to feel so nausea again. I didn't take any sleep med last night...didnt have a very good sleep but still i feel nausea. I need something to help me sleep without causing nausea and to help me sleep like a baby throughout the night pleaseee.

This period was mediately after I took 2mg Lunesta and 3mg melatonin. I suspect that the Lunesta lowered my breathing. Please comment on that. However, my wife informs me that I do stop breathing for a few seconds at a time. I asked her for more info such as how long, but she always shakes me after a few seconds until I breath again. According to some articles cessation of breathing is normal if less than 10 seconds an less than 10 times an hour.

I have been on 80 mg. Of oxy for a year now n quit cold turkey Friday night. I had no idea what I was in for. The muscle spasms , migriane followed by vomiting. Can't sleep so tried. Final call some local abuse hotline. They were closed for mlk. Call my doc. On 4th day gave Xanax for a week and lunesta at night is this a bad idea? My wife.

can i take lunesta with a natural sleep aid that has melatonin, valerian root, passionflower,chamomile, hops extract and 5-HTP?

My GP prescribed me Lunesta last week. It works, but it gives no appetite. I try taking it every 3rd or 4th night. I am serious about the no appetite though, the first time i took i literally did not have an appetitie for two days. Not healthy in my situation. I have tried ambien, and all others, but this is the only that has worked so far. Of course everyone's side effects are different.
