I have been taking Loestrin (generic) for about a year. My doctor gave me the brand as a sample to save some money. I am in week three of the first pack. My period started yesterday. What can cause this early bleeding?
Well I'm a stay at home mom. But when my bf gets paid we pay rent and whatever other bills we have then I take 100$ and hide it in our savings and it isn't allowed to be touched. Then whatever extra we spend. We're still working on it being our money haha because I still feel uncomfortable asking for money or just taking it and buying something. Its weird we live together and been together for 4 years its just weird to me.
Does anyone know how to interpret the patient id card you get after surgery? I am trying to figure out if the lens was specified correctly but the wrong lens was sent and implanted or if the lens was made correctly and the specs were wrong.
I want to make sure I don't get the old run around when I go back to the surgeon. The specs on the card are:

Hello. I am on my 3rd year of being on Loestrin 24 FE and in the first month or two I had the regular spotting and breakthrough bleeding. However, in the past couple of months I have experienced spotting and breakthrough bleeding all over again and that is not normal for me. What could be going on? I take my pill at the same time daily and there haven't been any changes of lifestyle.
I've been on Loestrin 24 fe for about a year now. I take it regularly and consistently, but vomited a few hours after taking one pill of this month's pack. I'm on the second day of the placebo pills now, and I did not have a period last month at all. My boyfriend and I have been having sex, without using condoms, for 5 months and everything has been fine, but I'd like some reassurance. Could missing that one pill in the first week of pills cause me to be pregnant?
My gf had not been on birth control for a year or more. She began taking Lo Loestrin Fe on Oct. 20, the first day of her period. The side effects (increased acne, severe anxiety and depression, emotional lability) were so severe for her that she decided to stop before the pack was done. I believe she took roughly 2 weeks and a few days of the pack (maybe 3 weeks total), then quit them because she was so miserable.
Hello, I am 29 yo considering OC to help hormonal imbalance (not so much pregnancy prevention). I have cystic acne along my jawline. I have been using spironolactone 50mg daily about a year. Overall, it's improved about 50%, but will worsen during pre-mentraul flare ups. However, my derm is hesitant about increasing my dose and suggested adding on OC.
Any reccomendation on what estrogen/progestin combo to try for acne?
does anyone have anthem insurance? Do you happen to know a anytime phone number for them? Trying to find out if they cover first trimester nuchal screening. I know i am on their lumenos hsa plan (savings account). I've tried calling the numbers on the back of my insurance card but it keeps telling me to call during regular hours but i need to know now for my appointment Monday. Thank you mommas!
Are iol identification cards always provided to the patient for their files? Under what circumstances would these cards not be provided/available to the patient?

If you were my patient, I would suggest to you that it sounds like you are having some spotting prior to your actual period. This is not uncommon, and nothing to worry about. I would also do some testing to be sure you don't have BV.

I recently started taking Loestrin 24. I started experiencing light bleeding during sex which lasts for a day or 2 then stops, but then occurs again the next time. It only happens during/after sex. I've never had this happen before. There was nothing abnormal when I had my check up and was given the prescription. Has anyone ever heard of this happening with this brand?
I interpreted this to mean that it is mandatory to provide the patient with an iol identifications card for their personal medical file. Is it?
I did request the Technis lens i.d. card but was told they don't give them out but that this information is on my file if I need it.

Has anyone ever switched from Loestrin 24 to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo? Anybody ever gotten pregnant while on the "lo estrogen" pills? I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????

Hit some yard sales or thrift stores to find some more couches. Most of the time good furniture can be found for very low prices.

Hi, i have been on lo loestrin fe for 1 month. Today i am taking second brown pill, which is also the last one...i feel menstrual pain for a few days, but no menstruation. I am worried! Is pregnancy possible if i had intercourse with my bf (while i was on the pill) but he had never ejaculated inside? It is written that lo loestrin fe is protecting you from the first day if u are starting on the first day of your period. Thats how i did. But why is my period not coming?
I've not had any problems with Yaz or Loestrin 24. I'm on Loestrin right now because Yaz made me pretty low emotionally. However, I think because they are so low dose pills, they shouldn't cause such a problem.
I've heard bad thinkgs about Seasonal/ique, though. I dunno. I take Loestrin continiously and haven't had an issue, I don't see why you would bother with a pill specifically marketed as "less periods" when you can have them with any.
