I have been taking Loestrin 24fe for about a year, I have had increased amount of discharge that is white, kind of creamy and has a little odor to it. I have recently been checked by doctor to find out what is going on: nothing found, no yeast, no bacteria, no std. He has had me trying douching with different things and nothing seems to be working and I feel like I am putting my body through more by doing this, could this be my birth control?
Since the start of the loestrin , all of my symptoms have been so severe I am missing work . Today my Md. just increased my levothyroxine to 100mcg but did give me the option of the cytomel route. .
I just want to feel better. I am aware that loestrin can cause levothyroxine ineffective. I am 53 and feel like 153. I just want to sleep constantly up to 15 hrs a day. Can you tell me what would be the best option for me? btw, my t3 t4 tsh normal low, antibodies high.
My gf had not been on birth control for a year or more. She began taking Lo Loestrin Fe on Oct. 20, the first day of her period. The side effects (increased acne, severe anxiety and depression, emotional lability) were so severe for her that she decided to stop before the pack was done. I believe she took roughly 2 weeks and a few days of the pack (maybe 3 weeks total), then quit them because she was so miserable.
I have been on it since the 14th of Feb and I only experience my normal morning erections. As far as libido not really. I have read a lot of comments over the internet and the avaerage time gram I saw was at least 3 weeks. I guess I just need to be patient since medication affects everyone differently right?
I also suffer from central obesity, have striae in abdominal area, hirsutism and slightly increased testosterone and low transferrin. The low transferrin worries me because I remember being 10 years old and having a depression on my thumb nail. I had no idea what is was and I now think it could of been koilonychia. I am also always cold and I went to donate blood at 23 yr. old, and a needle stick to test for iron was given to me. I was told I had low Fe and could not give blood at that time.
I had surgery in July and another to recluse the wound in August. My libido has went down since then. Now every time I have an orgasm is causes my nerves to jump in my left foot and start to tingle. Then about 10-15 minutes after the orgasm my foot starts to hurt. Is this normal ?
according to basics of psychology the more you think abt a disease , more u r going to stay wid dat. ofcourse increased libido is not disease bt its a condition which is causing problems for you, so here r the suggestions like , do not over indulge in these activity llike viewing blue films or having more of sex , if u r married try to decrease ur freq. of doin it.
if u r not married so decrease down ur freq of masterbation , or do not think of such things .
I recently started taking Loestrin 24. I started experiencing light bleeding during sex which lasts for a day or 2 then stops, but then occurs again the next time. It only happens during/after sex. I've never had this happen before. There was nothing abnormal when I had my check up and was given the prescription. Has anyone ever heard of this happening with this brand?
Has anyone ever switched from Loestrin 24 to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo? Anybody ever gotten pregnant while on the "lo estrogen" pills? I switched from Loestrin to Ortho because I started not having periods AT ALL on the Loestrin and I had CRAZY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS. I got a blood test but it was negative. Now I am on Ortho and am a little nervous because I've heard and read that some people have gotten pregnant on this pill. Any advice????
Hi, i have been on lo loestrin fe for 1 month. Today i am taking second brown pill, which is also the last one...i feel menstrual pain for a few days, but no menstruation. I am worried! Is pregnancy possible if i had intercourse with my bf (while i was on the pill) but he had never ejaculated inside? It is written that lo loestrin fe is protecting you from the first day if u are starting on the first day of your period. Thats how i did. But why is my period not coming?
I never heard of that. I worked for a doctor who's theory was:if your libido has increased you're having a boy and if your libido has decreased it's a girl. But she never mentioned anything about sex affecting your labor.
I have been taking Loestrin (generic) for about a year. My doctor gave me the brand as a sample to save some money. I am in week three of the first pack. My period started yesterday. What can cause this early bleeding?
I've not had any problems with Yaz or Loestrin 24. I'm on Loestrin right now because Yaz made me pretty low emotionally. However, I think because they are so low dose pills, they shouldn't cause such a problem.
I've heard bad thinkgs about Seasonal/ique, though. I dunno. I take Loestrin continiously and haven't had an issue, I don't see why you would bother with a pill specifically marketed as "less periods" when you can have them with any.
I have been on lo loestrin fe for the past 4 months. This past month I had breakthrough bleeding. I've been told that breakthrough bleeding means that I am not protected anymore, but does that mean that my pills were not working for the entire month prior to breakthrough or just the time after that? Could I have gotten pregnant before breakthrough even if I had taken pills regularly?
