Is this Spam? Can't tell. Are you selling Listerine? Can't tell. While Listerine advertises it kills germs, it doesn't ever say what germs, and it has gone round and round with the FDA about this. For awhile, they had to take this off the label and their advertising. Then it was back. There are a lot of germs in the world, and alcohol alone kills a lot of them. That's what hand sanitizer is, if it's the right kind of alcohol and at the right percentage.
Another out-of-the-expected remedy for itchy skin (especially insect bites, but it might work here too) is classic formula Listerine. It has all sorts of ingredients in it that are soothing to the skin and kill the itch.
I have been able to find numerous articles about people who have used it for themselves, and used on dogs, cats, and horses but only one article about a woman who used it on a severly plucked CAG, along with a blue listerine spraying followed by an aloe vera gel spraying. The ingredients lists ACTIVE INREDIENTS: 5x dilution of Helianthemum nummularium HPUS, Clematis vitalba HPUS, Impatiens glandulifera HPUS, Prunus cerasifera HPUS, Ornithogalum umbellatum HPUS. INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Alcohol.
Fresh+ mint strips are meant to enhance oral sex by creating a sensation like fire/ice or bengay and they are like listerine breath strips. Early last week I had one canker sore in my mouth, I used Listerine (both with and without alcohol) as it reduces the pain of the sore. I used it rather compulsively, like 7-8 times a day. Later last week, I notice that the white coating at the back of the tongue is thick. I can scrap it off and it looks like old milk.
Is it because of the use of Listerine that somehow change the environment in mouth? Is it because of any other disease?

When I had actual shingles (not a yeast infection related to them as far as I know, but it could have been a secondary problem on the lesions) they itched like crazy. Something that helped was to take original Listerine (the stinky kind that's kind of gold in color) and put it on a cotton ball and really rub it into the lesions.
For almost a year now around my scalp has been feeling gummy and greasy. I don't dye my hair, or take medication. I eat healthy and work out often. I asked my dermotolgist he did not know. I have tried numerous shampoo's. Sulfate free ect. Washing my hair with Listerine. Nothing seems to do the trick. I tried putting color in it, and cutting it and that didn't help. I AM SO FRUSTRATED and desperate! Please let me know any solutions to fix it for once and for all!!! Please!!!!
i notice, oddly, different kinds of act have different levels of fluoride so i make sure to get the kind with the highest fluoride level. ALSO...so listerine...which listerine do you recommend? i assume one with no alcohol, right? just regular zero (not total care), i assume? i also use that crest total care mouthwash. any thoughts on that stuff?
They just told me to brush and floss well and to start using listerine because it kills the germs that cause gingivitis. Ever since I started using listerine they've stopped bleeding. Hope this helps!
I started using Listerine Whitening Pre-Brush rinse about three days ago. The first time I used it, I felt this slight stinging in my cheek on the right side. I didn't think it was anything to worry about. I used it on a second day and didn't have any symptoms other than peeling gums. The third day, in the morning I used it and was OK. I used it at night and this is when my symptoms suddenly appeared. About two hours after I used the mouthwash, my mouth had this bitter taste.
Listerine is not for everyone, people with dry mouth should avoid alcohol based rinses.
s made to be a mouthwash, obviously, but those natural ingredients are actually a good skin cleaner for other purposes. Listerine (again, the original stinky kind) on a cotton ball actually removed the horrible itching when I got shingles once, and nothing else would touch it. It's also great when you have an itchy mosquito bite that just won't stop being red and puffy.
One question I have about listerine is how long does it take to kill the lice? Im wiping the listerine on my body with a rag and it dries within 10 minutes. Going to see a doctor if this doesnt work because I have no insurance and would probably cost me 200 for the visit. Cant afford to see a doctor yet if these home remedies will kill it. Spent 60 bucks so far in supplies for this.
wow, i always thght mouthwash can be use as many times as possible w/o any affect..didnt think it could actually be a negative too...i've stop using listerine and went to crest..i use to use listerine for everythg n a bunch of times during the day..even at wrk...i didnt realize there was more to usin listerine that i never knew about that can have an affect on your tongue...
I feel fine now, but yesterday I really brushed my teeth thoroughly, I flossed like 2 times, brushed acouple of times, and used Listerine 2 times in the morning. Then I noticed later my mouth was irritated and very dry. The skin is peeling off, and I don't have alot of saliva. I also have about 3 canker sores, which I get canker sores alot. I dont know if this is just a viral thing, or I irritated my mouth...
