They are only about 80% accurate. I would trust progesterone over an opk any day. I would trust an u/s over progesterone tests. With 24.6 at cd20, your dr is correct. O is earlier than what the opks are saying. It is possible that the Lh is taking a little longer to show in the urine and by the time it does, it is already over. This can happen with some women.
Yes, a chemical pg would affect the progesterone level. It would be higher than if no pg occurred.

Are they progesterone pills? If so do not stop taking them until you have spoken to your dr. These pills are given to women who are at risk of miscarriage.

Hi ladies. I'm 35 years old and 7 weeks pregnant. I've had 6 miscarriages in the past (last one was 2 years ago) due to low progesterone levels. I've been taking Crinone 8% suppositories once a day for the past 2 weeks but my OB changed my Rx (due to insurance issues) to Progesterone 100mg (generic for prometrium) 3 times a day which I take orally. I just started the progesterone yesterday and my question is... Is it better to take the Progesterone pills vaginally instead?
While I understand that there is always a risk of DVT, depression or stroke when taking contraceptive pills, I was thinking, there are other brand of pills which contains more or less the same hormones ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel. So should I be concerned? I have been on other brand of pills in the past which contained ethinylestradiol and norethisterone and I was fine with it.
