Along with steam inhalation, you can take nonsedating antihistamines like cetirizine (Zyrtec) or loratadine (Claritin).Moreover decongestants and topical decongestants may help in reducing congestion of the nose.
You can use eucalyptus oil or products containing menthol with steam inhalation. This should help.

ve been to my general physican 3x in the last month and a half and was sent to an allergist. I saw the allergist 3 days ago who said no more steroids as they have bad side effects. I'm presently on Levocetirizine 5 mg 4 pills a day (20 mg total), Fexofenadine Hydrochlorise 180 mg, Prevacid 30 mg, Ranitidine 300 mg. IT'S NOT WORKING. Presently, Hives are on my hands- palm, wrists, back of my neck and scalp.
Hello Ladies, I need some help. As we know, during pregnancy we can't take alot of medications. My sinuses have been draining in the back of my throat. Its annoying and very irritating. I'm constantly blowing my nose. Its is becoming raw. Does anyone know of anything safe to take to control this problem. And its making it very hard to sleep at night.
I can only recall getting hives the first couple of times I drank but the last few times I have only had the swelling in the forearms and smaller bumps. These bumps are hard to describe but it looks like the hair follicles are raised a little if that makes any sense at all.
Do you think it's possible to build a tolerance until I no longer get these symptoms?

infected looking sores from her constanly itching,breaking sores open,is on meds and creams from doctor and nothing helps,she's in a nursing home...what could be the cause or what else can be done for her?
t cough out the water in my throat which seems to be stuck in mucus. A doc suspects myasthenia...God would indeed be cruel to give me both Myasthenia and lupus...problem is, both doesn't explain why I cough and mucus builds up in throat in reaction to strong smells like smell of phenyle at hospital, etc. I couldn't even bear the smell of the hospital, for reaction starts, how am I supposed to get treatment done? What could be causing these multiple problems?
Somewhere I read is that fibrosis is not good in the middle range of fibrosis, but good for the two ends, and results very depend on the person who performs the procedure. This is from the trails in US and comparisons with liver biopsy. But I think it would be a great tool to gauge the progress of treatments, in which only relative comparisons are important, since it can be perform regularly.
Tested positive for trich 3 times in the last few months. Took the Meds as perscribed along w/ husband the first time. A few weeks later I'm still positive so I take the flagyl again and no sex but after getting tested again a few weeks later the GYN said I was loaded with trich again but when the lab work came back it showed negative for trich. The Dr. Told me to take the flagyl for 3 weeks. I have no fowl smell and no odd discharge.
He gave me penicillin kind of medicine for 1 week course and levocetirizine for allergies. It is now my 4th day of the treatment but still the same problem. I still have that "floating kind of feeling". I will just wait for the last day of taking my medicine then I am going back to him for follow up.
