Common Questions and Answers about Levitra lowers blood pressure

levitra

Avatar n tn I have found if i give myself some time to sit and breathe deeply before they call me back and drink a little bit of water in the meantime that my blood pressure lowers. Also try asking them of you can lay down on your left side for a few minutes before they check you. I'm sorry you are going through this but, hopefully this helps some. Good luck to you!!!
Avatar n tn I haven't taken any of the meds you're on, but I did have ED problems when I took Zoloft. It was either the Zoloft or the Atenolol for blood pressure. At any rate they gave me Levitra and I haven't been troubled by it since. I noticed the problem almost as soon as they started me on Zoloft. I'm not on Zoloft anymore but it isn't because of the ED. The levitra worked well for me.
178590 tn?1294176767 they say the first trimester and beginning of second actually lowers your blood pressure.. so if it is already up a little just watch it... limit salt drink lots of fluids and don't over do anything... I would take a measure a few more times to be sure..
Avatar f tn My blood pressure is normally 120/180. However, after jogging 3 miles my blood pressure will be 98/75. Why would my blood pressure go down, instead of up, during intense exersice? This discussion is related to Low blood pressure a cause of poor exercise capacity?.
Avatar m tn The most common side effects of Viagra and the other PDE5 inhibitors are flushing and headache. PDE5 drugs can cause dangerously low blood pressure if they are taken with nitroglycerin or other nitrate medications that are used to treat chest pain and heart disease. In patients that cannot tolerate PDE5 inhibitors there are other treatments available. The drug alprostadil (Caverject, Edex, Muse) also increases blood flow to the penis leading to an erection.
Avatar m tn Back in February 2015, I had a heart scare that turned out to be left ventricular hypertrophy brought on by hypertension. My blood pressure was around 145/80, and no telling how long that had been going on. Doc put me on 12.5mg of lisinopril with a diuretic and a statin drug. This helped, but I was totally unable to get an erection. I wasn't sexual with anyone, but that didn't seem normal. Doc prescribed 20mg of Levitra and changed me to 20mg of lisinopril without the diuretic.
Avatar f tn What questions should I ask re what type of blood pressure medication I should be on? I tried benicar and lisinopril and caused sinus drainage - however, they worked Then tried hydrochlorothiazide which cause major constipation .... Now on amlopidine beselate and coreq cr and have fatigue....seems the latter meds are overkill as I had only one coronary stent over 10 hrs ago and cardiologist a few weeks ago said my heart is fine.
Avatar f tn Levitra may not be effective if you have uncontrolled diabetes, very low blood pressure (hypotension) or uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension), heart disease or heart failure, stroke or you are taking any nitrate drugs for angina, blood-thinning (anticoagulant) medications, antihypertensives or alpha blockers for enlarged prostate. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
1260320 tn?1270394906 Benicar keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Benicar HCT has a diuretic included as well. I have been fortunate, Benicar has worked from the first day I took it and works well still today. My 90 day average BP is 108/67 down from 135/85 when I started. I have had no side effects as well, the best of both worlds!
Avatar f tn I was doing really well for a while but now it seems the my blood pressure is becoming more unstable. I used to hang out in 90/60 sometimes 80/50's and still do hit lows but now it is also jumping high randomly like 134/108. Any idea why this may be happening? I was originally diagnosed after at Tilt Table Test at Mayo and our insurance no longer covers Mayo. I'm sure it's time to follow up but not sure if I should see a neurologist or cardiologist.
Avatar m tn By history I easily have symptoms of a spinal cord injury. MRI showed the T7 compression fracture, as well as T5, T6, and the L5-S1 disk bulges, and they noted degenerative disk disease or early degeneration in my spine already. I get bad muscle spasms, twitches. But as far as LOSS off bowels and bladder ive never had that. It does seem like my bowels work just fine up until it reaches the lower left side. Always seems to be constipated around that area. Guess its bad if i can feel it there.
Avatar f tn with liver cancer and low blood pressure. Does this mean that as the pressure lowers the body is slowly dying? My step father has stage 4 cancer and hepatitis c. Also gallbladder, stones and a hernia. Was told 6 months - 1 year...about 2 months ago.
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever noticed any changes in their blood pressure and baby's heart rate before upcoming labor? I'm just wondering because today my blood pressure was like 98/56, usually it's over 100 and the baby's heart rate dropped from the usual 147-148 to 136. I'm 36 weeks and 4 days. I've been very alert during this pregnancy because I had my second child the day before I made 36 weeks.
Avatar f tn I take NADOLOL .--. It worked for me. Lowers blood pressure.
Avatar n tn I had a reversejaculation my urine consisted of blood and a lot of small pieces of body tissue. The body tissue pieces had no blood on them.About 45 days ago I had a reversejaculation and I was using Levitra, Afterwards I had a lot more bleeding but not body tissue isssues.I've had my urethra operated on twice, four biopsies, and had a fair size piece of my right lobe removed for a biopsy. No cancer was found. All these proceduses and surgeries were from 2 to 12 years ago..
Avatar m tn uhm... erm.. ah... Yes! It does wonders for your blood pressure. in fact if you were to get a roll of aluminum foil and....;-) The "coincidence" you mentioned is probably that you feel very conformable in the hat as opposed to not having it. Or, it could be a coincidence that the days you have the hat happen to be the days with the least amount of stress and/or work you have.
Avatar m tn Before this there were never ED problems, but since there has been. Are there any other medications to lower blood pressure without this side effect? As of now the hypertension is under control with these meds.
Avatar m tn Two days later I went to my family doctor and was told it might be a reaction to my blood pressure medication. A few days later I started getting week erection but not often. As of today I can get an erection but it is not rigid. It is still not like I used to be. I have an appointment with a urologist in two weeks but it is weighing in me Mentally.
Avatar f tn I work long hard hours 6 days a week. I also have ED. I also take meds for high blood pressure, which i believe is my problem. My question is my girlfriend wants sex all the time. Shes never left satisfied. I can barely have intercourse 50% of the time, which makes her feel insecure and that shes the problem. We have lots of oral and i seem to do fine there, but when it comes to making love i get soft even changing positions. Ive tried viagra and cialis.
Avatar f tn i also like to eat cactus with lemon lowers your blood pressure *** and makes sure ur sugar is normal i am plus sized and i dont have gestational diabetes or high blood pressure and my doctors are shocked always checking me
Avatar n tn When the vagus nerve is irritated it lowers the heart rate. This, in turn lowers the blood pressure and the person passes out. It is the reason many cardiac arrests are found on the toilet. The "black-out" usually takes place when there is a co-factor. Generally a cardiac problem or low blood pressure. Your husband's life is in danger, and he needs to be evaluated at a hospital as of yesterday and undergo a cardiac evaluation. This is not a "minor issue".
