You should not play around with your medications yourself. I do not know of any pill that combines both of those drugs in one tablet. You can ask your doctor, but I really doubt it exists.
If you're better now on the pills, it means they're working. It's a trap many people fall into--"I'm feeling better, so I don't need the meds anymore". It ***** to have to take multiple pills a day, but if that's what keeps you healthy, that's what you need to do.
Hi there, the various side effects with keppra or levetiracetam are dizziness, irritability, tiredness, fatigue, severe allergic reactions, extreme dizziness, drowsiness, weakness or tiredness, memory loss, behavior changes like aggression, panic attacks, restlessness, new or worsening seizures etc. in the period immediately after a seizure attack, it could be the post ictal phase or confusion. Consult your neurologist for your evaluation and change of anti epileptic medication. Hope this helps.
These involuntary movements could be myoclonus which may develop in response to infection, stroke, brain tumors, head or spinal cord injury, liver or kidney failure, multiple sclerosis, lupus etc. side effects of certain drugs like tramadol and antibiotics like quinolones and anticholinergics. It can occur in epiliepsy. Treatment would include discontinuation of drugs suspected to be the cause; metabolic derangements need to be resolved.
Hi birdy-my son has been on tegretol for his epilepsy- he gained 20 lbs in less than 1month, and had bouts of dizziness; we discontinued tegretol because of these unbearable side effects, we tried many more meds until we found keppra, which has been a blessing! Seizure control and no adverse side effects!
I see these color blobs that move in my vision that shouldn’t be there, they don’t show any connection to stimuli so I don’t have synesthesia. I’m on levetiracetam aka keppra and clobazam aka onfi. When I was on oxcarbazepine (trileptal) and levetiracetam (keppra) I started having these weird headaches where I would lose my vision, hearing, smell, and coordination, but I could still speak and feel. The doctors are pretty much stumped. Has anyone ever had a situation like this?
Who knows? All three of these drugs target at least in part the way the brain processes serotonin. The Zoloft is an ssri, and solely targets serotonin. The other two target other neurotransmitters along with serotonin. The possible danger is getting serotonin syndrome, which is an overdose basically of serotonin.
I am an Indian Citizen living in the US. I have been taking LEVETIRACETAM (to control partial-onset seizures) since 2011. Currently, I am in perfect health conditions. As a precautionary medicine, I get the medicine from India either myself or through a friend/family member traveling between India and the US. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, I am running short of medicine. I have my prescription and medical certificates to support my condition.
Can she end up with just nightly doses? 2. What are, if any, POSITIVE side effects with keppra (i.e. lamictral can actually HELP with bipolar disorder). 3. Will the fatigue eventually go away as she is on it longer? 4. Of your patients, what percentage complain about their moods of depression, hostility, aggression, infection, etc.? Unfortunately, people with chronic illnesses that prevent them from expressing what they're feeling often end up overmedicated, which leads to accumulating side effects that are hard to distinguish from the effects of the illness.
can levetiracetam 750mg (2 2 times a day) be taken with amlodipine 10mg (1 time a day) and albuterol 90mcg (2 pumps 4 times a day). Can these be mixed? I this too much medicine?
I will do that it seems the higher dose has created this and I'm not on anything else.
Many AD's have side effects that affect the libido, guess it applies to both sex es. As far as I know all AD's have this drastic effect . Hopefully you'll find one that's OK for you . Good luck.

FINALLY SAW FEED BACK FROM THE COMMUNITY THAT VERIFIED OTHERS FEELING SAME. ANYONE FEELING ANYTHING ELSE ODD? PLEASE POST. ALSO HAVE BLOATING, IRRITABILITY. Hi. I am on week 60/72, second round of treatment. I was really really sick after shot for first few months and then this resolved and became tolerable at least. I now find that I am having these same significant side effects later in tx. This didn't happen last round, but I went 48 then. Anyone else have this happen?
Cancer removed May 22, 2007, chemo July 2nd through October 8, 2007, and radiation on left breast November 2nd through December 26, 2008. Side effect from Taxol perminent numb toes, side effects so far from Tamoxifen body temperature changes of warmth then cold. The web page sites and telephone numbers did not have this information.
