Has anyone else taken this drug for arthritis? I started it several months ago and and seem to be getting a large amount of side affects.I have had upset stomachs with lots of reflux.When I exhale the air from my stomach it tastes horrible...like a decaying tooth.There is a horrible metallic smell consistantly with my stools.I have lost weight.I have constant tingling all over my body.I have had many headaches and low grade fevers.
He has been on a combination of Arava 20 mg ( Hydroxychloroquine) and Plaquenil (Leflunomide) . He has been going severly downhill since January and has lost 40 pounds, has constant mucous drainage that he chokes on especially after meals, and has severe shortness of breath. Can these symptoms be a result of the medications he is taking? Is it safe for him to take two synthetic DMARDS at the same time?

My wife 45 is suffering from arthritis since last 5 years. She takes Lefora and folic acid regularly. She is stable but has developed some problem in her stomach by using lefora. Can she use some substitute or continue with Lefora.

Fast forward six months and I became ill....very ill. I contracted klebsiella bacterium and resulted in severe pneumonia. Also at the same time I gained 50lbs but still ate a healthy diet. I developed an enlarged liver. Once all this was treated I started back on humira. Within six months I contracted systemic candida fungal infection which 4 years later is still treatment resistent. I obviously stopped the humira at that time but I continue to suffer from this infection.
At the age of 33, one day I was fine, healthy etc. Went to bed and the next morning woke up with excruciating pain deep inside my r/knee area. Couldn't get out of bed or walk. That was the start of my (disease)? Went to an orthopedist. Got cortisone injection, gave me anti-inflammatories, sent me home told me to rest. Pain never went away, but it subsided a bit. Pain flared up again after about a month, ortho referred me to rheumatologist. More anit-inflammatories for a while.

hi i have just read your post, i myself was on reacide for 5 years this year in march i woke up with numbness had an mri done a lesion was discovered at c3 area had 5 days of steroids stopped remicide imediately then in july more numbness i couldnt feel my legs at all for 20mins when i woke up 1 morning then the feeling came back another mri discovered another lesion at t11 more 5 days steroids lumbar puncture and diagnosis of ms, before i went on remacide i had to sign a paper in this it stated

Of these, Free T3 is the most important because Free T3 largely regulates metabolism and many other body functions. (note that Free T3 and T4 are not the same as Total T3 and T4).
From just looking at your lab results in light of my experience, I see nothing there to be alarmed about. Your Free T3 is above the midpoint of its range and Free T4 is also within range, though it is in the lower quarter of the range.

I read online that your cervix is very sensitive during pregnancy and its possible my bf irritated, or (to be blunt) went too deep and made me bleed. Like I said, there was no pain or cramps or anything of that nature. I didnt even know I was bleeding. It wasnt alot, but it wasnt a little. Has anybody else had this problem, should I be worried?
Congrats on your pregnancy and tapering down on the pills. When you see your OB make sure you tell them everything you have done. They will be able to set your mind at ease. You quit early in your pregnancy and that is a good thing. As long as you stay off the drugs your baby wont be born with wd's. Have you thought about talking to someone about this? There is always a reason why we use.
just some info guys this is very common in 1st and 3rd and fourth trimesters. im 25w with #3 and 2 girls and finally now a boy and has been same for all 3 first trimester i didnt want to be touched at all i felt real sick all the time etc 2nd trimester with all 3 picked up a little bit and when i wanted sex i really wanted it. lol 3rd and 4th trimester with 1st 2 kids wasnt interested at all.
