I found here in my area the L-Argnine 500mg which has a magnesium citrate on it & on the bottle it says i can take from 1-6 tablets in a day, just to give a try i started with two which is 1000mg a day it means but it has a terrible headache side effect. Is this normal or it is due to my f2-f3 fibrosis level my liver reacting to the tablet? Appreciate!
Excellent for diabetic neuropathy as well. Many people take it four or five times per day in small doses. Purchase the L-Arginine in quantity (at health food stores), rather than in capsules and you will save a lot of money. Of course you should have a home meter and check your blood pressure before and after starting with this substance, just to know the effect.
Is there any correlation between biliary dyskinesia and L-arginine? I heard L-arginine affects the sphincter of the oddi, which is the cause to my biliary dyskinesia if I'm not mistaken. Does the L-arginine help or hurt? Or is it neutral?
I have a question from the opposite angle.. I had been told l- arginine would be of help releasing nitric oxide in the blood to help with male erection/orgasm ..however, that arginine shouldn't be taken by those with hsv1/2 because it can provoke an outbreak. Can you debunk this ? I would love to take arginine if it can help at all !
Are there are any potential contra indications in that Viagra should not be taken by a person who takes L-Arginine? If so, is the contraindication just for that day? In other words, would I be safe if I did not take L-Arginine on the day I took Viagra? Or, do I have to stop taking L-Arginine completely if I am going to occasionally take Viagra (i.e. take Viagra once a week)? Thank you for your response.

L-Arginine is the best and it also boosts the level of Creatine which helps with weight loss, exercise, and erections and blood pressure. Most of the effective trials though were done with 3 to 7 grams daily. The higher treatment (7 on up) was associated with physical problems mainly liver.
But I think some experiments were done with a daily 3 G dose and 5gram dose on days you expected sexual activity &/or 1 hour before activity alongside a yohimbe.
All the searches I have done related to this inform me of a diet high in L-Lysine and low in L-Arginine to help treat herpes, which I do not have. I am currently undergoing cryotherapy for my breakouts because the Aldera cream irritates me too much. I also currently use vitamin E liquid topically and have been trying to live as healthy a life style as possible (quit smoking, drinking and eating healthier).
I don't know the product firsthand. But, I think I've read that L-carnitine works best when taken in conjuntion with L-Arginine and L-Lysine sp? They are amino acids if I remember correct and do help with male fertility. Watch zinc. While it is essential to male fertility, it is stored in the body and can be o'd and serious if is.
