It was only after I had bought these that I read on multiple websites that excess (i.e. more than usual) L-Arginine in your diet can mean more frequent herpes outbreaks and of course these supplements both contain L-Arginine.
I don't want to waste the supplements but I don't want to risk having an outbreak because of them.
Does anyone know if L-arginine can lead to more frequent outbreaks (apparently it promotes the replication of the virus and thus leads to an outbreak)?
Yes, I have a natural cure which works great for years now. order puritans pride L arginine 1000mg free form capsules and vitamin world pycnogenol 60 mg capsules. Take 3 L arginine capsules in morning at once with large glass water. Then at lunch take the one pycnogenol half way through your sandwitch. Must take with food. Give it a few weeks to really take affect, may see results a lot sooner. I have 100% ability now back from almost nothing.

I have a question from the opposite angle.. I had been told l- arginine would be of help releasing nitric oxide in the blood to help with male erection/orgasm ..however, that arginine shouldn't be taken by those with hsv1/2 because it can provoke an outbreak. Can you debunk this ? I would love to take arginine if it can help at all !
It is simply an amino acid powder primarily arginine. This is a cheap protein amino acid precursor found in a good balanced diet. People are always trying to make a buck by sell cheap ingredients at high prices just because it sounds good or follows a current fad. Save your money and eat a well balance diet.
Are there are any potential contra indications in that Viagra should not be taken by a person who takes L-Arginine? If so, is the contraindication just for that day? In other words, would I be safe if I did not take L-Arginine on the day I took Viagra? ve read that it has lysine and lutein which seems to have a good effect in the clearance of HPV, but it also has L-Arginine and there are mixed opinions about it... Anyone has tried it with success?
