I have been taking L-arginine, L-citrulline, along with Alpha Lipoic acid and fish oil to prevent heart disease. My doctor told me to take aspirin. I exercise 4 times per week and have lost 10 lbs. Recently I have been having frequent nosebleeds. I cut back on the dosage of aspirin but still have nose bleeds although not as often. I don't know if the combination of supplements is the cause of the nosebleeds.
, however the year is 2014, and knowledge regarding L-Arginine (a vasodilator, that increases the interior diameter of the blood vessels, increasing body capacitance) and the safety thereof has been common knowledge for the last fifty years. That being said I think it would always be a good idea to ask your doctor about everything in your life.
I had my top four front teeth removed and had implants placed, all with just novocaine and nitrous oxide. I was very nervous about the whole thing. The NO just made me feel relaxed and the procedure was quick and totally painless. I didn't feel a thing and could hear the oral surgeon speaking to his assistant. You don't really go to sleep with it and are always in control of yourself.

I had a dentist appointment this morning, and I always use the nitrous oxide because of severe anxiety. Before the procedure the dentist did everything as normal, however, I never felt the effects of the nitrous. I remained completely "normal". When asked if I was okay I told them the nitrous wasn't working and they reassured me that it was on and was floating the ball in the hose at a 50/50 mix.
I have a question from the opposite angle.. I had been told l- arginine would be of help releasing nitric oxide in the blood to help with male erection/orgasm ..however, that arginine shouldn't be taken by those with hsv1/2 because it can provoke an outbreak. Can you debunk this ? I would love to take arginine if it can help at all !

It seems that Great Britain uses it more; why do U.S. doctors continue to ignore the suffering of their patients?
we do not rely on this alone because for safety reasons only about 30% of the Nitrous should be used and 70% of the other being oxygen and these two are ran through the same mask. It is imparative that you have this dentist use a monitoring system such as a pulse oximeter to monitor your child's oxygen levels. Even healthy children that have been sedated in our office sometimes have their oxygen levels drop to around 80% which is a concern.
i went to the doc and he said not to worry about any of that and said it was probably not related and just allergies cuz i have fluid in my ears. he gave me some meds, got sinus x rays and blood work and he said to come back next week if it still hurts.
guess im still worried. after a day of allegry meds no improvement. just worried this one dumb decision did some permanent brain damage thats gonna ruin my life. i guess looking for some advice or hope. i have bad anxiety issues as well.
I accidentally took a work out supplement thats is a nitric oxide thing. It has niacin and L arginine in it. Its suppose to make ur blood vessles open up bigger for a better pump at the gym. Then a took viagra a couple hours later and has the swollen erection.
I saw a regular Dr and a urologist. Both were a waste of time and money. Anyone else experience somthing similar? I havent gone more than 5 days without having sex. I am going to try 2 weeks.
They have increased the Ranexa 500 mg to 2 x a day and I am still having angina attacks mainly left shoulder pain. I have read several articles about L-arginine being used to increase nitric oxide and that seemed to help control spasms. I am currently on Norvasc 5mg 1xdaily, Lisinopril 5mg 1x daily, metoprolol 100 mg 2 x daily Ranexa 500 mg 2x daily, magnesium 500 mg 2 x daily, garlic 1000 mg daily, evening primrose oil 1000 mg daily, simvastatin. I also have sleep apnea and use a cpap machine.
I am a 25 year old female and I had a seizure while having dental work done about 3 weeks ago. I had been given lidocaine and nitrous oxide. Following the appointment, I went to a neurologist and had a CT scan and an MRI done. Both showed no brain abnormalities. I had eclampsia 4 years ago and had seizures which resulted in the early delivery of my child. Aside from my seizures 4 years ago, I had no previous history of seizure disorder.
I would like to know why laughing gas (nitrous oxide) is not a good option for my daughter to undertake while receiving dental care as she needs to be sedated. I am told that she needs to be adminstered the normal anesthesia as if she were receiving a surgery in a hospital. I understand that a cardiologist as well as the anesthesiologist should be present during the care (dental), but why specifically is laughing gas more hard on her system?
Don't waste your $$$$ and This supplement L-arginine increases nitric oxide (NO) which hampers the ability of T-cells in fighting cancer.
I underwent nitrous oxide for a dental implant surgery 2 years ago. The day following the surgery, I began having severe panic attacks and anxiety. I did have some anxiety problems before the surgery but had never suffered a panic attack previously. I am now taking medication for this anxiety that still hasn't subsided following this surgery.
I have read in some places that N2O is contraindicated for those with anxiety/mental disorders, and others that say it is not.
I take pre-workout supplements (Muscle Pharm Assault) which contain L-Arginine and Beta Alinine (nitric oxide), which I read doesnt go well when taken at the same time as Viagra. In addition, I take Creatine and Whey Protein as well.
I am not planning on taking them at the same time though. Could you advise if it is safe to take these on the days when I am not having Viagra. Also, how long do I need to wait before I can take them.
