This is due to me constantly hitting hard surfaces. i have no pain in that particular finger or knuckle or any part of the hand but i cant fully raise my right ring finger. It gets to about half way and i cannot raise it anymore unless i force it up with my other hand. Apart from that i have full use of my right hand and no pain in or around the knuckle or finger. Any ideas whats wrong??
t push down on my finger/knuckle nor have an open hand and like you getting up using your hand or popping your knuckle with finger straight. Now my issue is that my work switched insurance companies and now I have crappy insurance and can't really afford to get it checked out let alone fixed. If it's something serious I will have to figure something out. Any help will be appreciated.
My 7 year old daughter's thumb keeps "popping out". It has happened a couple of times in the past few days.
Whenver she tries to lift or touch something using her thumb, she gets this bulge at the base of the thumb on top of her hand (thumb knuckle). Her thumb then leans all the way down at a strange angle. It painful but she is able to "click" it back herself by moving her thumb out and up.
Laying in bed yesterday and today baby moving like crazy, not sure if it was my tailbone or something of his but he kicked and at the same time I heard the knuckle popping noise... Pretty sure he realigned my tailbone for me, how weird is that?! Anyone else feel experience this?
Overusing any joint has the same effect that you can imagine, like muscle strain, wear and tear of the cartilage around the knuckle joints (its the same tissue that makes a popping sound when you press knuckle joints..). Its difficult to pin point the exact cause of the pain with the information you have provided, but my advise is that you must see at least a physiotherapist and later an orthopedic specialist to diagnose the reason for this pain.
I posted prior about pain in my knuckle starting in my left index finger knuckle. Since then, in early January of this year it transferred to the opposite knuckle. I went in to get tests done and they came back negative for RA, OA, and gout. Everything looked good on the x-rays and there was no cartilage worn down on the joints. Since I got it tested, the pain has continued to transfer to surrounding knuckles but not to the same pain level as the original left index finger knuckle.
LOL. Funny you posted this. I am 34.4 weeks and when I sit down, I hear the same thing coming from the top of ny uterus. You can hear it from outside and well as feel it. It feels to me like my uterus is like farting or something. Haha. I haven't asked a doc about it yet, I always forget. But I doubt its anything to worry about. And Idk if you're experiencing what I am.

m unable to do so. There is a lot of cracking and popping in the joint, like knuckle cracking, which is sometimes painful, sometimes not. I'm not sure what else to do at this point. Do I see another doctor? Give up? It seems insane that as young as I am I have to put up with this for the rest of my life. I feel like there must be something else out there.
You may have severely bruised the bone, or fractured it by the force that went on the hand as you landed.
An xray of the hand would be able to show whether you have caused damage to the bone.
In the meantime strap the middle finger to the two either side to immobilise it. You can apply a lot of natural yogurt to that part and lightly bandage it. This helps by drawing out the inflammation.
Keep your weight off that hand too until it is fully healed.
when i grip anything with my right hand, like scissors or any hand tool, and squeeze, i get a sharp pain in my middle knuckle, i noticed it about a year ago, it was not bad at all at first, but over the last week its become a constant. all other knuckles on both hands are fantastic otherwise,im dont recall any injury or reason why this is happening, any ideas?

For over 1 year now I have had excessive stomach bloating, constipation, gas, lower back pain and almost clear urine. The dr.'s don't have any answers. A CT was just done with contrast and iodine iv, no significant results. A small stone was found near my kidney, but they don't seem to think much of it. I am doubled over in pain, have not had a bowel movement without laxative in months and even with the laxative only a small amount comes out. I am 49 years old and female.
Since the other night, I hear a popping sound every so often and I don't know if it's from my stomach or pelvic area. It's quiet but I can hear it. Did anyone experience this or know what it is?
I used get this really weird feeling every time I emptied my bladder. I have no other way to describe it other than a knuckle popping hahah it's crazy. When I told my mom she knew exactly what I was talking about lol it was just the baby's head dropping down after my bladder was no longer full.
Just need someone with any knowledge on this condition to help me out.
i had a total middle knuckle replacement on my right hand the knuckle that forms a fist, i had more range of motion with my old arthritis knuckle that i was born with, i will not never ever have another knuckle replacement i will keep the joints i was born with , i would rather have them because they have more range of motion and the silicone knuckle only provided 45 degrees of motion, if you go beyond that it will break, I regret having this operation, because i was better off with the knuckle
I have been having pain on the inside of the palms of my hands just around the knuckle areas... Usually it starts with me rubbing it and the more i rub it the intense it gets but at the same time offers me relief. I dont have any pain on the top of my hands over the knuckle areas at all. The pain is only localized to my knuckle area and does not spread through the fingers or upper arms. There is no reddness or swelling.
2 weeks ago I got a thorn in my knuckle. I pulled it out and a pain shot across my knuckle. It was very red, hot and swollen. The day after I went to the Dr’s who put me on anti biotics for a week, flucloxacillin. The swelling and redness reduced. Now it is slightly swollen with a lot of pain in the joint of my finger, all around it, where I touch the knuckle, or use my hand , I feel. It . How long might this pain last ?
