My doctor checked my neck and looked down in my throat and said I was perfectly normal. I posted a question like this on yahoo answers with exact symptoms and they ALL said it was just swollen lymph nodes. It went away for awhile but KIND OF came back. My mom used to work at a hospital and she said it could actually take SEVERAL months for my lymph nodes to go down. I have allergies. It first felt really weird to yawn but then in my neck, on my lymph nodes, it started to hurt a little.
Thread closed by moderator because there was no risk for contracting hiv. I still have itchy body. In the meanwhile I went to the doctor for sore throat and had done hiv antibody testing(too soon I know) after 2 weeks and after 4 weeks antibody and antigen. Negative result. Doctor said sore throat is caused by virus. Two days ago I had cramps, had to vomit, and had a slight fever. Also pimples and small red area on my glans penis. Fever and cramps lasted only 2 days.
I recently had sex unprotected with a girl I met at a bar. Exactly the next day I had muscle pains and started to get really congested. Second day I started to get a sore throat and started coughing really hard with a lot of dark green mucus coming out of my coughs. My nose usually stayed runny all day but usually at night when I'd go to sleep it wouldn't run. But I started coughing and sometimes there's blood in the mucus when I cough up, little amounts in the mucus.

Day 14: Noticed a patch of moist dead skin beneath head of penis on shaft. It rubbed off and the area became itchy and raw. The area where the shaft meets the head also was particularly irritated and the rim was warm and sore to the touch. I began applying baby powder to sooth the area. I also developed pimples on both butt cheeks that lasted several days. I suspected herpes and called the girl I had been with.
t start till June I can go to class next quarter Yahoo. Even if USC changes my mind about who does it I can still push it off till summer. I can't stay home I just can't.
I walked to the library without stopping and back (with a bathroom break and grabbed a couple of books inbetween) with the walker. I wasn't able to do it without stopping a lot 2 weeks ago. Yahoo. Oh and I started PT exercises on Thursday. It went well. I'm still working on getting off the walker.
Our 17 yr old cat has a lot of phlegm that drips out of his mouth when he eats. Also, whenever he starts purring, he makes a loud rattling sound, has to open his mouth to breathe, and is so uncomfortable he paces around until the rattling stops. We can stop him by blowing at his mouth when he inhales or tipping him upside down. As a result he no longer wants us to pet him or hold him, which is awful for all of us. He was hit by a car at the age of 4 and his head/throat is slightly askew.

Hi, I recently moved to Florida and appear to be suffering from allergies. People have told me that the new area may be what's causing the problem. Last year I got sick twice and both times people were saying allergies could've been the culprit. This year (in early January) I started with an itchy throat. Back in December I had a problem with my ears itching (I assumed they were just dry and used Mineral Oil to ease the itching).
s just my mind but I have been feeling mildly itchy all over my chest shoulders stomach and face(which scares me) I few more pimples coming in including one on top of my right shoulder and iI've never had anything there before. I don't have a fever or sore throat but contantly feel like that day right before I get the flu. I'm highly worried and I know I need to get tested.
Immediately after the encounter, my throat began to feel itchy. The next day it became a bit more severe, and I began to feel cold-like symptoms. This lasted for two days then receded. On the second, day i felt and noticed two small red bumps under my tongue which was not painful at all, but noticeable. Hello, years ago i was diagnosed with strep after a sexual encounter with a female. Kissing and oral performed on her. Days later my throat started to feel funny. First started off with tonsils feeling swollen when i swallowed and really paid no mind to it as there was no pain or flu/cold like symptoms. So about 2 days go by and i noticed white spots on tonsils and a little bit of pain when i swallowed.
My question is that although no flu like symptoms I did recently start to have sinus congestion and like sinusitis then a very mild sore throat or throat irritation like an itchy sensation and drying my throat in the back with a swollen tongue. took benedryl and it slowed down a lot. No thrush or anything. This would give me a massive headache but when I took my temp it was at the highest 98.9 but a steady 98.6 to 98.7.
